#Steam Game Recommendations (to everyone, NOT stream recommendations)

An example (though I do think it rocks)
Currently it’s $15.99 which I think is a fair price for this game. You’re working on finding out a family tree to find the next heir of a family fortune. It’s a lengthy game (broken up into two big parts) that doesn’t really hand hold you but can offer hints which start out as “maybe investigate this” to “this is what you should be finding”. It’s well paced and ensures you’re going the right direction by breaking it up into “solve x number” throughout the two cases. There’s a little drawback where it’s not replayable and there’s a final submission for an overall question at the end of each case. If you get it wrong, you get it wrong and get the correct answer (I think). For those who love unconventional puzzle searching, working in fictitious internet worlds, and think they’re a great detective.

Now, due to the eccentricities of their great-great-grandfather Elias, their money must be redistributed to the rest of the family. But who's actually a BLOO…

Disco Elysium is on sale for $15 AUD (which is like $12 USD or some shit). It's an isometric detective game with great emphasis placed on the narrative and is my personal favourite game of all time.
There is a lot of reading but also there isn't since damn near everything is voiced.
The Beginner's Guide
The Beginner's Guide is a narrative video game from Davey Wreden, the creator of The Stanley Parable. It lasts about an hour and a half and has no traditional mechanics, no goals or objectives. Instead, it tells the story of a person struggling to deal with something they do not understand.

currently 50% off with the sale, as the description preview says, it's by Davey Wreden who made The Stanley Parable
I think its a game that if you are interested, better to let the game do it's own describing/talking hence why I'm not really elaborating further
Posting here again cause I see it’s on sale. This game probably started the popularity of having total destruction in a game. Performs well and is cheap right now:

PS- you don’t need to play the prior games to enjoy
