it was a nice adaptation of the series, miss some people that where not there. wonder how far season 2 will go if we get a season 2.

I have only seen the first four episodes. I have enjoyed it a lot so far.

Just finished it. If the seasons are the same length, I think season 2 would add ||the missing Loguetown arc and end at Drum Kingdom|| with a season 3 in ||Arabasta||.
I was an anime only, so I didn't know that ||Zeff ate his leg.|| I don't care that ||Jango was missing, but I would have liked to see Hachi wielding 6 swords.|| I also don't mind ||the shortening of Don Krieg's part.|| I wished ||Merry wasn't killed, so that Kaya wasn't alone.||

For altered part of one piece release in the west was either when 4kids had licenses right for one piece or viz naming changes/dub translations. Zeff losing his leg was told differently between the manga and anime because animators probably felt it was much for kids.
