My experience is if the login and load is slow - just relog don’t even bother trying. Til you get a clean login and load then it’s fine.

Pop in is still bad no matter what but that ends the crashes and hang ups for me

Instead if you fracture cast speed it's pref cannot be changed and a suffix unveil

Well with PoE2 they have a decent size dedicated console dev team (poe1 is a couple console devs at best) and the game is built ground up with console in mind + they actually HAVE to keep console up to date as its crossplay so they can't let it slack behind in patches as every platform needs to be on the same patch.

We all love to hate on ggg for their lack of communication with console players but they’re dealing with all of the path of exile 2 news, betas, gamescom and so-and-so at the moment.

Realistically we shouldn’t have expected it this week with everything going on. Hopefully, hopefully, it does drop some time this week.

But part of being new is learning, and nothing about the state of the game on console would slow that down for you. Itll probably take you an entire week to complete the campaign if you rushed just because of inexperience.

What we’re having issues with is stuff I honestly couldn’t see you getting to this league anyway. I’m annoyed I can’t make the very hardest maps the hardest they can be and stay connected without crashing. It’s taken me about 6 years to get to a point I’ve been able to do this.

Those same “hardest” maps at their regular difficulty should give absolutely nobody an issue with crashes.

Our market is quite frankly fucked. Some items can cost up to 50x what they’ll cost on pc servers just because there’s less of us and some people want to try and control a monopoly on them.

Harbinger mixed with breach/deli/legion or just farming fragments slash invitations is good. Made my first 100 divine on awakened gems. Now I’m farming deli and harbingers for fracturing orbs and deli orbs.

I'm following a build and the anxiety of the skill tree is gone, though I'm confused about how to handle gear still, and what is worth picking up. I have NS semi strict on and a lot still shows, I believe I heard multi links are worth it always, are blues always a pick up too? I dislike the inventory system a great deal, limited space in the form of itens taking up multiple spaces is archaic as hell and I guess 2 will have it as well, but I'll get used to it.

Also not sure what is worth identifying, kind of going on the assumption that if it has gem links I can use them I identify it

Also also a little unsure if I should be getting into the league mechanics or not, I went there and did the mining and ship stuff but that's kind of a whole nother layer of overload, though it is really cool

I'm trying to avoid video guides for now tbh, the idea of having to watch 10+ 1h+ videos from ziz in that academy playlist, of which there's like 4 playlists, with him kind of just rambling a lot and not having too much structure that is easily digestible is... Not great.

I did watch a bit of Rax's guide though, he does it better from what I've seen.

Ziz kind of just dunps a lot of info and Rax boils it down to necessary as a new player and completely not needed as a new player info

Not trying to be rude but you don’t have to watch all those videos. Play the game, and whatever topic you wanna learn search and type recommend streamers for new players. Vyx did a playlist where he was new to the game and he learns as he goes, the chat helps him, and recommend things for him to do so I learned with him as a new player it’s nice and fun to watch while doing your own campaign. Gem slots and links don’t mean much unless it’s 5 or 6 linked slots, and your filter will play a sound letting you know one has dropped.

I’m not sure where abouts you are in the game just yet but for the endgame you’ll want to keep items that have both life, and two or three resistances as defences are a lot harder to collect than overall damage in PoE

99% of uniques are just bad, so don’t be worrying if you’ve won the lottery the first time one drops 😅 though you may still be able to use it as a build defining item.

On boots, you always want movement speed

That’s wholley dependant. You’ll want some boots with movement speed, bonus point if you can get some life and resistance too.

No problem. Your biggest concerns on gear are as follows though

-double resistances are good, triple resistances are better, add life and you’ve found a great item.

-always look for movement speed on boots

-weapons are simple, look for the biggest damage number, add attack speed and it’s amazing

An example of a brilliant weapon would be

And you can hold l3 and it’ll show you just how good each stat is

T1 being the best and only available on higher level gear, t8 being available on lower.

Take the PS5 client out of your mind buddy. The silence, update, delay and again silence indicates that there is a big issue which GGG is currently not interested in sharing with us.

So many titles have received a next gen update without any issues but GGG is struggling with POe. Also, the player base is not like PC, so they don't give a fuck
