Do the +level heist equipments not work? I have a level 3 with a +2 cloak, but I can't use them for a level 4 contract

+level makes the guys in the zones be a higher level
so if youre doing a 79 zone with a +2 they appear as 81

I believe the +job level mods also don't let you do higher requirement contracts; they just increase job spd and maybe boost the perk
but they require ilvl 82/83 so I can't check it myself yet
all perks scale with job level (though I'm also unsure if it's only primary/top job level or total of all job lvls on that rogue)

The totems are cancer though. They're invulnerable until you're in their range and can often be impossible to avoid.

I play melee too, I just leap slam out of the pulse, works well. It's tougher when there's 4 in one room, but kinda fun, not impossible

It reduces the alert gained and increases the lockdown Timer and gives a more packsize multi. So rolling Your Maps at least to some degree is usefull. I cannot say if quant works on all chests or not.

I ran my first perception contract after the patch today, because I had to, because I don't want unremovable items in my inventory... and the alarm went off the first couple totems despite me trying to kill them off. Contract ofc failed.
Ran 2 more after that, didnt have the same issue. Bugs still roaming around here and there?
Alert level rose from 20% to alarm in an instant.
speaking of perception, totems are now so much better to deal with

it's because they're "hidden" or sommat and so the perception specialist has to reveal them

Tried heist some more times, its not so bad. Just those random instant kills at emergency are annoying, still one coudl just go out and back in before alarm so all items will stay, but still it can cost some exp. Also exp gains in heists now are pretty decent.

but I also just finished leveling my final jobs to 5 today
crash logs go straight to the programmers for what it's worth, no need to bug report
so I was switching around their rogue gear
all of those crashes happened with niles
I think it may be due to rogue gear granting auras
he had a discipline aura from his new gear
given when those crashes were happening I think it's something to do with moving in/out of their aura range
but it could just be something with niles since it was only the wings he was active

How do you increase the level of rewards? I am running level 83 contracts with level 4/5 job requirements but only getting yellow map rewards. All my contracts came from t14-16 maps
so just hope to get lucky ?

One massive cancer 'fuck you for being melee' aspect of Heist: The TINY tether range for rogues doing doors.
Get more than a few feet away and they'll cancel.
Sure would suck if you needed to move more than a few feet away to hit the ranged enemies pelting you with arrows from the other side of the room. 
Like, I'm running a flicker build and when a ranged mob starts attacking the rogue, half the time attacking them breaks the action

A lot of my trinket grand heists at least tend to have 6/7 chaos at the end as an option if the rest is crap, though that doesn't even really cover the markers I think.

Is it me, or do reinforcments actually need time to spawn and if you are really fast they simply arent in formation yet?
You will zoom zoom until locked doors which requires some time to open and reinforcements will already be in formation

welp that's crash #3 in heist encounters, is it just me or is it normal that about 30% of heist maps are uncompleteable because they either crash or the characters refuse to do their tasks (i've had that happen at least 3 times as well, i've completed 14 contracts total)

I havent had a single crash since the league started and only one of all of my contracts was uncompletable and that was pre Patch
🤷♂️ i've had 1 case where they just continued to just fight enemies instead of opening the door post patch (and whenever i got rid of the enemies they'd wait for the next wave), and another post patch where it would repeatedly try to open the door and it just didn't open, and at least 2 of the crashes were post patch as well

I swear I don't understand Heist. I paid 42000 marks for 2 blueprints, full reveal. This is all the loot from it. It's just less than the price of the bluerpints and marks...

I like to reveal the exits. It's usually around 400-500 marks and it saves lots of time
saving time is great, if you take that into account when looking at your earnings
but if you're looking at earnings per blueprint, exits are obviously just a loss

You at minimum want to level Vinderi's second skill as well, as he's the only one who gets it to level 5
the rest... up to you and where/how you want to use them, really
like personally I prefer not taking Gianna on grand heists, because her perk is irrelevant there, so I leveled Niles's Deception as high as it would go (4) and take him for those instead
but yeah, the first skill scales their perk & maxes out at level 5 and the rest are lower (except for Huck, who has four skills each maxed at level 3, and Vinderi, who has two skills at level 5)

lockpicking, agility, and counter-thaumaturgy all have currency; I haven't really checked which has it most often, but I think lockpicking probably is the best of the three since it also has fragments
and not a lot of meh rewards like agility

It's based on the job listed in the contract, not on the follower. Brute force & trap disarming give weapon chest

How hard does "Area Level" or Contract Level effect the rewards from normal and special chests in Heists? Does it scale really well or is there not much of a difference in say 78-83 maps, or does it scale very heavily at the end, etc

i find heists and grand heists very safe to run, i am playing flicker strike glad, i leveled from 93 to 95 yesterday, heists 81+ and rare.
today i tried to complete challenges in maps, i died 6 times in toxic sewer 8 mods, no sextants, no scarabs, just Jun mission.
my experience with heists is that templar mobs are particularly rippy but the rest isnt anywhere near as bad
the rippiness might also just be them being much tankier which lets them get off hits, i've needed to do twice as much damage or more to kill them compared to the other enemy sets
Templar mobs are really Legion-esque, lots of auras and whatnot
also 6.5k hp, if you have a good defensive layer like high block, is a lot more than 'not much'
Really scary when you get one with a big haste aura and have like 50 templars chasing you at high speed hahaha
like my char has a blade vortex that hits for average 1.1m on sirus resists before conductivity/exposure/sigil of power and the white templars take 2-3 ticks when theyre piled up behind the doors
on all the other enemy sets i 1-2 shot everything including rares, with 3-4 hits for uniques
miners and whatnot that can control the fight much better have an easier time with them though, cause theyre almost entirely melee

my personal ranking for reward rooms goes roughly as... (delirium, cards, currency) > (blight, breach, harbinger) > (legion, delve, gems, metamorph, maps) > essence > jewelry > abyss (level 83 ONLY) > talismans > weapons > armor > uniques > prophecy
i made like 400c from div cards last night, pulled a couple nice cards from about 300 stacked decks
with the amount of delirium orbs heist spits out you can 1-orb a lot of good maps

unusual gems have been my most profitable grand heist
and by most profitable, i mean least bad
all the replicas, experimental bases and stuff i find are trash
but i usually find a 10c gem or one of those 25c lens in unusual gem heists

some of these skill gems are insanely valuable if you hit the vaal with 21/20 though
even a 20/20 alt quality purity of elements is worth 10ex

my reward rooms feel completely different tonight for what's in them. last night i was getting breach, delve and delirium reward rooms while leveling my rogue jobs. tonight for the same jobs all im getting are essence, jewelry, prophecy. im just opening all chests and ignoring the reward rooms half the time tonight
and these mystery rooms are pretty trash too

heist is about the crazy item drops honestly
it gives a lot of upper crafted rewards either in curio chests at the end of GHs or random drops that are way too good to be normal
like a corrupted jewel with a total of 26% attack speed and corrupted blood can not be inflicted lol
i identified about 200 rares last night from heists and grand heists, all ilvl 83+. i sold 3 of them for 5 chaos each. most rares outside of the GH rewards are still trash
the identified jewels that drop are pretty good if they roll right, just like the talismans
enchanted armaments worth running at all? i like to stick to unusual gems
unusual gems is shittons of bank
you can get god roll items from enchanted, but it's also a lot of runs with reward rooms being more profitable than the end rewards
at the very least, you get the side rooms
unusual gems is the most consistent money, but replica and enchanted has the chance for the biggest value items, but has more worthless runs because most of the curio rewards are dog shit
...honestly you get a lot more from the side rooms than the actual target, unless you get very lucky and strike gold
id say the side rooms are always the best
but check the end before alerting
because you do find crazy things
that said most the money i have made has been straight ex drops
i made just under 1k chaos yesterday, all from individual drops from side rooms and contracts
i usually find gems worth 1ex+

when you get a high value item like a breachstone and vinderi's double item shit procs

Hi guys, just giving you heads up:
The heist gear for followers is completely broken, mods like "chests have %# chance to duplicate cointained currency/scarabs/etc" Doesn't work at all.
I've opened over 200 reward room chests with a total of 30% duplication chance on gear and it hasn't procced a single time.
Vindari does work however, the loot duplication is clearly noticable, but the items are completely bugged
So just like launch, cool.
So how do you get the unique heist contracts?
Do all green contracts and then they drop from caches

I cant understand how should I approach heist alarm run. Even when I had alarm bar in half and started alarm, was fighting in 1 room for 20minutes (necro) mob were diing like on 2 hits but they keep going keep going 25 mobs in that room non stop.
So here I stay bored to death thinking, what should I actually do ? Since if I run there try dash throught or anything its 50/50 i just die in oneshot. (And I have been in there every second contract)

Might need to adapt your build a bit, most standard mapping setups don’t have the sort of utility you’ll need to bust through those huge mob packs

I’ve specialized my build quite a bit and don’t really die in heists. Just figure out why you’re dying and come up with a counterplay

The mob waves are mostly affected by mods on the contract and opening reward rooms
If you have two reward room doors next to one another you may want to skip one and just open small chests if you’re dying too much

if you run through, their initial hits will go at the doorway after you've already gone through it; then you just kill a bunch of em before they get to take a second shot

Yeah it can take some getting used to but just don’t stop moving and don’t backtrack or else you’ll probably die. When you have to camp out for a sec to wait for doors just get out ASAP or the mobs will keep piling up
or maybe big one only if its near to end, since there seems to be some time till they spawn at start
Which is really bad for Templars for instance because a lot of the rares have auras
So the mobs are just getting turbobuffed if you let them keep spawning

The only truly valuable gear slots are the ones that give chances to duplicate/generate more items. The items with buffs and stuff are minor QOL things like job speed. If your build struggles with heist mobs, there different auras that rogues can have like haste, wrath, etc

Yeah, and I’d try to think more about specializing rogues for blueprints than contracts
Try to really gear out a few for running blueprints since their bonuses stack, don’t spread your good gear too thin
I believe whether or not it's worth copying is determined by whether or not it will make more money than you lose/spend by doing the beast craft

i also think hexblast has a lot of meat with Archmage
because all that damage gets jacked up by the More multiplier from the Doom, and can all apply all elemental ailments

Yeah, you can try running maps without juicing them, so they're faster, and potentially skip the bosses, if all you're looking for is smuggler's caches
you do need to be running the highest tiers you can, though, since quest contracts do have minimum ilvls
that makes sense
they are adding another heist boss next patch, though, so you might wait till then to try hard-farming them
FWIW: unlike previous league mechanics, the spawn rates for heist chests in non-map areas ramp down as the area level increases
the spawn rate in quarry (or whatever) is a bit higher than 10%, iirc, but not by a lot
How does Heist league/mechanic feel since the patch earlier this week?
It's been good IMO, but I've enjoyed it since league launch, so 
seriously, how do I opt out of the Adiyah quests? Perception contracts are cancer, and I don't want the undroppable contracts
can't always get all the small chests, but the big ones are much better than the smalls anyway

No. It increases the (monster) level of the rogue, not the level of their skills

There are some high-level heist gear mods along the lines of "+1 to <specific job> Level" or "+1 to Level of all Jobs".
Job levels are on heist tools (center slot) -- lockpicks, keyrings, etc.

Short question: does using orb of alchemy on contracts/blueprints improve drops from chests?
Not sure (it doesn't for Blight, but I'm not sure we know if it does for Heist).
But each contract mod does give reduced alert, which lets you open more chests
(along with +lockdown time and more enemies during the escape, in addition to the usual iiq/iir/+packsize)
