as soon as you will do full harvest of t2 seeds you'll get enough lifeforce to craft almost everything for the buildings
but theres probably more efficient

@rigid stream I spawned the Hearth of Groove entering the garden within a map... died in a split second... Then I tried to go back to the garden through the hideout, but the boss had disappeared... Went back inside the map, and there isnt the portal to access the garden anymore...

You probably have to do it again, because you Ticked your garden by visiting it in your Hideout and thus Killing the active instance in your map

you will probably want 3-8 of each collector, 9++ storage tanks for each colour and 12++ dispersers

following a layout and learning the harvest mechanic, why does it suggest planting t2 seeds out of range of the collector when growing t3 seeds? unless that's not what it means? I'm almost certain I've misinterpreted what it means

you can't pick them up if they've been activated in the instance
so you need to leave, go to your hideout, and control click on the grove icon to open a new instance to fix it. Opening a seed cache can also do it if 1. You take longer than 7 minutes to enter the grove, or 2. You enter the grove from your map

clicking a cache resets the instance, thats the easier term for someone that might not be familiar with the concepts of instances is^^
you can also just ctrclick the icon to reset the instance
and instances dont have a fixed timer its like 7-15 minutes

@hexed sluice the map you run needs to be about 3-5 levels (not sure on the exact number) from the level of your seed for it to grow
i mean, i dont get what the maps I run has to do with the requierement of the seeds to start grow, but okay
your seeds are ilvl80
every other seed on that plant (including ones with same or higher lvl) has both marks ticked

if you follow the dumb reddit layouts youre gonna need way more lifeforce to disperse than you can harvest each cycle

I'm having weird issues where dispersers set to auto-disperse aren't actually doing it. They also show the icon to manually disperse, and if I click it, the related storage tanks go down so it's definitely expending the life force. Anyone else experience this?

Hey, I started this league a couple of days ago and just got to mapping. How do i best go about buying specific seeds for Harvest Crafting. I need Thorwolf Seeds that are at least level 72 it seems. Is there any good way on poe.trade to search for that?
DR starts at like 150% mapquant
you can test it yourself with lifeforce
there is a DR but its not significant till 150%
i can tell you that without quant you get 0,5-0,8 seed returns and with quant its 1-1,8
thats at ~80% quant
But you wont suddenly get 5 seeds return because you go to 180% quant

so both these flashing purple seeds say they need more blue to grow. but you can see i have the dispersers on and they're firing and i have plenty of blue. i've gone over all the connections a million times. is there something I'm not getting?
also why do the cables sometimes light up the color of the lifeforce and other times do not?

Yes. The Tier 4 seeds hatches into a sort of miniboss, and then after finishing that you start counting up the heart of the grove to fight the main harvest boss
You only need to do a single T4 seed to get to the final boss
ok so one t4 seed = guarenteed early boss (one for each colour) and the heart of the grove seed is guarenteed drop from first 'mini boss' ?
then just 100 cycle iirc ?
It doesn't drop a seed for the heart of the grove, something just "happens" in your garden the first time you kill a T4 seed monster
And then you start the 100 map counter

Yeah, your T3s wont grow, but if you don't care about that, that's fine
yeah, and tbh would make the final fight easier as there wouldnt be extra t3 and t2 mobs to help the final boss

I haven't finished my heart of the grove yet. The T4 seed boss was beefier than I expected though, but not too bad. Felt about as hard as a elder gaurdian of the same level maybe?

you can use items that are up to ten levels above the craft
so 77 seeds can craft on items up to ilvl 87

You can do that one as well, it has less room for Tanks and 4 fields isntead of 3
Its a Matter of prefference i suppose. If you do delirium and want the Most of it you want more fields, If you want to grow many high Tier seeds and dont want to harvest fairly often you want more storage

Uh thats gonna be hard, i just winged it, i Just copied it, its not my Selfmade setup
The Higher Tier Part is easy, the storage is Basically, 1 Pylon has 3 storages + 1 storage. That one storage has a Connection to another Pylon so that every Pylon has 3 unique and 1 shared Connection
Thats done so you dont waste space by connecting a Pylon to a pylon
Because If you make a Line of Pylons, every Pylon has a Connection to 2 Pylons and only 2 storages and thus wasting 50% potential

It's messy and looks really ugly and is annoying
They could just add a 3000 or 5000 lifeforce craft giving augmented storages you'd buy one by one too but with 3000 storage space
But then what. You can only use so many harvesters because you are limited by the seeds you get. Stuff more horticrafts in? ehh thats a bit of a hassle its easier to filter them in stash. Have a lot of empty space? ehh maybe? But then it doesnt look as shiny as the base garden is pretty dark

its the same principle, the hier tier and the lower tier area are the same, the storage is wired a bit differently but as long as you stick to the 3+1 approach it should work out

quarry is a lvl 65 area, the seeds only grow if you complete the areas of that monster level or higher

I made this layout focusing on making use of the new buds/flowers/blossoms. Each T1 farm is far-enough away from the other T1 farms so that they can have their localized buds with the effect of your preference. There is also a compact T4 farm in a corner with its own Lifeforce bud to make sure it produces enough lifeforce for its own craft outcome.

Even full fields of T1 can alpha strike you if you plant only lightning seeds. Those lightning monsters attack all at once from range. Gotta consider if you can actually kill the monsters once you harvest.
Well each monster granting crafts of a certain element will deal damage of that element. So far for me the most rippy ones were the primal lightning monsters

@woeful halo i actually don't even know how to plant t2s outside abundance. In other words I farm up 28 t2 seeds and place them all. Then 4 of them on the corners for the corner plots in the 5x5
T3 seeds I assume to do the same thing. Can you only. Plant one t4 seed at a time? And killing 3 makes the last boss some how?
@gray jackal I didn't know too, until someone told me! And I'm using the very same set up, saw the same exact post. I'll give you this succinct advice: one pylon connects to THREE storage tanks and ONE storage tank connected to another pylon. Basically, start from the pylon that connects to the disperses in the image you showed. Connect that pylon to a storage tank. That pylon and tank is glowing. Connect that glowing tank to a pylon. Connect that Now glowing pylon to three non glowing pylon. Never connect a pylon to a pylon. Pylons only have 4 connections.

For example I have a mod that is ‘attack,attack,fire’ and another that is ‘mana’. I assume the mana one is caster? But does the fire one also count as caster or is it only fire as far as grove crafts are concerned?

I'd have to look at which ones are prefixes/suffixes, but a roll suffix keeping prefix unchanged might work.

So let's say I crafted "prefixes can't be changed" on this and used the craft "remove a non-critical modifier and replace it with a critical modifier" then it should hit crit strike multiplier right?
Since that's the only crit mod that it can get, the prefixes can't change and the crit modifer can't change.

I am thoroughly confused why my dispersers, all of which are set to auto-disperse, aren't actually doing it. I have way more lifeforce in tanks than it would take to irrigate plots, but I am forced to manually disperse, which definitely drains the lifeforce so it's not a case of tanks not being hooked up. Any ideas?
I thought it was a case of having less lifeforce than would be required to irrigate ALL my fields, so the game can't decide which ones to do, but that's not it.

Right, ok. So if I go into the grove manually, not as a result of popping a seed cache, then no growth cycle has happened and if I wanted to, I could manually fulfil the lifeforce part myself.
I see what you are saying re: seeds still looking like they need lifeforce. That's referring to the next cycle
I guess a better question is: what is the order of events? pop seed cache -> lifeforce dispersed -> adjacency requirement checked -> if everything complete, seed advances one growth cycle?

I don't think so ziggie. The collector sort of acts as a tank though, if none are connected.

all seeds need to be within a collector to grow, but you can plant a seed anywhere. this is sometimes useful to met adjacency requirements of corner seeds.

They enable you to grow seeds in the corner plots. Without them the corners would only have 3 adjacent seeds instead of 4. They're T3 specifically to enable the corners to grow all tiers of seeds

it's not a one-off thing - if the seed says it needs 23 Vivid, that means it needs 23 Vivid every turn to keep growing
so yeah, you are probably going to need to keep T1 plots going to supply both seeds and LF for the higher tiers
(although I suspect once you're up and running farming full plots of T2/3s and have crafted all the horts you plan to, you should be good for LF if you're only using/saving the good crafts)

No difference, if you plant 12 wetas you'll get 12 life crafts, if plant 24 you'll get 24.
