U can hit 100 with a bunch of juice on regular builds, the real barrier is how fast you can move while clearing
If u just want 30 splinters per map u can get that with alch and go ramparts
I think what most ppl do wrong is they try to kill everything
Mobs drop more splinters the deeper into fog u go
So the primary goal is to get far ahead
And the secondary goal is to kill mobs once u are far ahead
T15 Lair, same ChisAlcVaal 4 Awakened Sextants, Breach Scarab, Legion Scarab, Ambush Scarab. Sac Frag. Alva. Beyond Zana Mod.
@sharp veldt I just skip first half of the map and kill the rest still getting 30. no master mission no sextant no scarab. I think you're not fast enough

I remember killing everything(6 4 2 rewards) and getting 1-5 splinter. Just don't try to kill all the mobs beginning of the map.

You can get a simulacrum with all shit reward types
Or you can get one that throws tons of fossils and scarabs at you
Selling it will provide a constant income to you. Running it however can get you a random profit up to 2-3 mirror if you’re super lucky and rngesus decided to bless you with godly loot, or you get profit less than 120c

@rough radish profiting less than 120c is still profit. Profit is the bit after the 120c >:^(
I'd say simulacrums are pretty consistent profit, just take a while
of course, can be a loss too, but far more often a profit
I find the big drops are an easier profit tho
I think the least troublesome way is to farm the Splinters yourself since you don't have to invest 120C
You're getting profits from whatever mapping strat you're doing plus the bonus from Delirium
simu profit isn't reliant on big drops at all

T16 5 orbs take so long and every mistake can kill me, I was not enjoying kiting adds and dodging their attacks for upwards of 10 seconds
Killed Omni after a while, cleared map, except Kosis, took several minutes to get him down to 75%, I just gave up

Stargates cost too much for us plebians

Does cluster jewel drop rate vary with map tier or is it just a function of number of kills? (trying to farm iLvl 75 large with the right base, and unsure whether to stay in T8 to maximize the number of kills or use higher maps - pretty sure I'm fine up T13 or so, but I wont clear the entire map above T8). Of course I could just hit a higher tier map with a delerium orb, but I cannot sustain those indefinately, whereas I can sustain T8 indefinately...

i was doing sirus with 6k ehp elusive and fortify(on leap-slam) last league
not the most enjoyable fight but it boils down to learning the fight moreso than cheesing it out from what i saw
the beams are the deadliest mechanic he has from what i felt like (aside from trying to jump from phase to phase) so as long as you keep moving constantly you should be fine in that regard
oh i see, yeah it was my first encounter with him earlier on a5 after defeating the guardians, i ended up calling for help in global because i dont know the mechs and i just die too quickly
Sirus has (aside from knowing mechanics) two main gear checks - how you deal with corrupting blood (4 X lazors) and how much chaos res you got, if you cover booth corrupting blood coruption on jewel + at least atziri's flask - you might notice that the fight is MUCH more forgiving. On top of that regen recover is wonderfull, thats why herald builds do it ez pz, they just can go aside and regen in safety most of the time.
Bonus points if you got freeze/shock/ignite immunity, as those save you from death beam "touch" while dodging
taht or sick DPS so you don't even see any of the mechanics

Other maps I clear 2/3 of it and its like 20 splinters before mist clears.

yes, run long linear* layouts like promenade, lair, or tropical island
you get way more splinters from killing enemies farther from the mirror in delirium
so you want to speed through the first part and start killing more after a bit into it
there is a visualization on reddit somewhere how it works
but
principle is that
you ever get splints apart from boss in huge bad layout in ex.2
It also can vary greatly about where your juice spawns bc the same principle applies
your alvas/abyss/whatever spawning later can make a decent impact

No point rushing to eradicator.. even beaming straight to end of map with mirror at start I didn't get him down b4 it ended due to all the phases and immunity shit.

But they drop in whatever zone ur in when they drop
Elder guardians have 3 zones and u cant go back
So u have to pay a bit of attention and not force a phase transition if theres a delirium timer ticking down

Any way to maximize Cassia oils in Delerium [league], or is it basically just randomly run maps and accept that she pops up in about 10% of them? (SSF so no ability to purchase anything). I guess metamorph scarabs can help a little (WTB Cassia scarabs)

Hey. So people toying with cluster jewels, I have a question - specifically about the fire DoT medium jewel and the 'wrapped in flame' notable. Its +20% burning damage, +15 Fire Dot Multi while burning, and recover 1.5% of life while burning. The Righteous Fire self degen does count as burning right? And on a related note, anyone know how to make PoB recognize if you are infact burning? It can do chilled/froze/shocked but not burning for some reason

I think Empyrean ran a bunch and arrived at an average of 3 ex per simulacrum
Still not a big enough sample size and I haven't seen the drops but it would seem it's worth to run them if you can complete most/all waves
A lot of people are farming splinters and that's definitely dragging the price down a fair amount
it also depends on ur clearspeed
completing waves with 4 rewards is not the same thing as completing waves with 6 rewards
wait, clearing them faster increases the rewards? i thought it spawned x monsters, i didnt realize it was time based

@golden moon I think unless you have specific items/skills that specify that leech effects aren't removed at full life, life leech stops at full life. I could be wrong though.

I'm rolling a melee class, but I want to reroll into ranged. But not at the cost at missing out on some league specific reward or something!

your atlas progression is league shared
so when you're new char gets there it will be right where it left off
but you don't get any special quest rewards for completing it
I though you couldn't even do maps without killing kitava
so wave 20 is 100% delirious and that isnt too bad in difficulty. Is that comparable to maps with 5 orbs or are maps harder

For instance : Can I stack two medimun cluster jewel that grant the passive : "Pure agony" ? (Add 1 max number of sentinel of purity / +5 max Virulence / Minions deals 20% increased damage while affected by a herald)
they stack if you get multiple of the same passive, yes

iirc in one of their posts GGG said the mist will pause for a bit once you finish the harb
Why is it that when I reach 4/2 rewards on delirium The countdown starts immediately, I can’t reach third rewards
And when I try to kill the delirium monsters close to me they fade and disappear even while it’s still counting down
the countdown and the reward levels arent directly related
you just have to kill stuff faster
or run a map/level with more density
once you start seeing the countdown you need to run farther ahead
some maps have a better layout than others too, if the map loops back on itself you are going backwards (getting closer to the start mirror)
Tropical Island, lair, promenade are examples of good maps where you naturally move away from where you started
Oh you can drop ex from delirum runs... Next is for mirror drop from delirum

4 Chisels + Alch + 3 vaal frags + bloodlines + Sextants for Monster pack. Kind of satisfied even though its not 200+ per run like some streamers... Conclusion : Don't be afraid to spend currency in your maps, ie. Chisels, Alch, chaos, Frags, Sextants..... the rich get richer while the poor gets poorer..
So, i started this league late... (3 days ago) is it worth running simulacrum myself for loot or just sell it outright?

So there is a notable from the clusters that gives 10% inc damage to you PER golem you have summoned.. And you can have 9 golems up in one time if you playing a golementalist and whatever items give 'summons additional golem'
So yeah.. 90% inc damage per notable.. Its not PH comparable , but its up there.. Also CaptainLancer something has a video about it

And it's also dependent on your elementals being alive which can be a tall order sometimes
@sour mountain he didnt clarify, they also gain 25% inc max hp these golems and you stack them so they become quite tanky, its closer to 400% inc damage in total or something if I recall correct
wave 20 is about 10 packs in a t16 100% delirious which is only like 1/5th of one

when starting PoE this league, mon 1080TI is doing aircraft noises

freezes in maps are most likely a network issue if you are playing lockstep mode. try a different realm or play predictive mode (not recommended)
i force capped my fps because i was sitting at 300 fps in gameplay ;p

i tried them out and i only got 1 exalt out of 10 or so 100% fine delirium t16 shaper maps

that being said you would probably profit from them if you clock like 12 to 14 rewards but that's annoying to do and you'd probably investing more in juice than fine orb

in my experience it seems the regular delirium spawns more but im only using 1 orb on the other maps
One orb would be less delirium in total. With the regular mirror if you are killing mobs all the way to the end of the map you are probably building up close to 100% delirium
With only 1 orb you are pegged at 20% the whole map

More splinters drop from bosses, but overall more enemies killed = more splinter drops

i mainly use it to test things without paying the cost in temp league

if I'm rushing through a delirium map and stop at Alva to pick which temple room to do, does the delirium timer keep going?
its supposed to pause it while you are in the temple. but the entire pause mechanic is more than a little bit iffy
most of the time it fails to pause but ive only had it happen while in a temple once that i remember
pretty sure it keeps going while talking to alva tho,
so get in the portal asap
ah yeah that's the thing I was worried about, because I don't know the temple rooms so gotta check the web page to see which ones I should prioritize
@humble horizon default keybind is "v" for viewing league mechanic in a league specific zone. So rush to open temple, enter incursion and DONT MOVE. Press V to view area. As long as you don't move you have a 10 sec period of invuln: Monsters won't attack you in temple, delirium is paused, and you can pick which architect to kill in peace.

@humble horizon it seems to be related to how deep in the fog you get and killing the map boss. say tropical island, clear it all and kill the boss will net you a lot of shards. but some where the boss isnt far from the spawn physically hardly drop anything, like city square for example.
but the map boss is important for shards

The fog has a beginning and end. You can be behind it as it moves, inside of it, or in front of it. The closer you are to the front of it while still inside of it is the best place for splinter drops.

yeah but still the way it rewards you doesnt feel much satisfying, it lack of something that "finish" the map for an all drop

Either it's decently common to get some type of "add a value" harvest exalted, that would probably make regular exalts drop in price by a lot, or they are relativly rare and cost more than a regular ex, making the crafting extremely limited again
the idea is that the plants offer unique crafting methods, not just bottled currencies
yeah, most of the options are better than using a regular ex
like how bestiary has imprint and add/remove suffix/prefix
So if everyone gets a bunch of "target exalts", regular ex arnt really that hot anymore
thats is probably a bit of trouble, this league doesnt add any new nothing to actualy challenge

It says "reveals a random phyiscal modifier when harvested". So i harvest it, i get a cool modifier, but i dont have an item for it right now. I cant save the craft, so it just lost?

The way I understood it is that it will add a craftable mod to a nearby harvesting device

you can see the trend with the seed tiers
tier 1 is a much more random effect
but 2 and 3 get more specific as you go
you will have a fuckton of t1s
While most seeds grow easily, rarer high-tier ones require more careful planning but yield more valuable results.
part of that value is in their consistency
i'm assuming exalt and annull like effects needs to be pretty rare on t1s then
because these are already insanely powerful

mechanic itself seems pretty straightforward with potentials to minmax efficiency in the farm (dk how much of a difference it'll be yet) , and the crafting potentials are huge

i guess tier 2 onwards require some mgmt to meet the requirement of the lfieforce and other types
which is also fairly simple, but yeah if they rather not bother with that, spamming t1 seeds all day is fine too
i like that the rewards are baked into the crafting instead of being a loot explosion
so this league will have a far healthier economy i bet
less flooding of the market
just the current list of crafting we see so far are already pretty powerful, if there's a few more of those it could lead to some pretty easy gg item >_>
i think thats fine though, because the league doesn't drop any other loot. if it also dropped an insane amount of currency or whatever then i'd have a problem, but on SSF it's super nice to have these strong crafting options and on trade it's going to make selling your harvested crafts profitable if challenging

none of the other crafts they'd get would stay

this system is for people actively trying to craft specific items

it could be that it turns out to be decently common. you put a flask plant in with your normal crafting and it eithers costs so little lifeforce that you use it every time it pops up, or you use it as a spare option, or it's a not-bad option that appears when you're trying to get other, better flask mods

synthesis crafting potency
If I would guess, Synthesis made a lot of broken gear accessible, and the crafting options shown so far looks so powerful
cuz id argue it's crafting potency is just better than bestiary and closer to synth levels
But you're not power creeping gear with extra implicits
you're just power creeping with targeted annuls, exalts, and just flat crafts that don't take your crafted mod slot
which i'd argue is better
