those are the only 3 watchstones remaining in my atlas and no matter how many maps i run in them... no conq spawn

I still dont get the new altas mech, in one region, i still have 3 stones not obtained, and it asks for 3-4 stones to be socketed to spawn the conqueror, then i socketed 3 stones, do i need to run the same map tier as socketed or any tier but in this region to make conquerors appear?
its region based, not directly tier based (the more stones in the area the higher the tier). example... if a tower requires 4 watchstones to spawn a conqueror, then you must socket 4 watchstones AND run a map in that region of the tier that corelates with how many watchstones are socketted
so 4 watchstones means, a tier 14-16 of those regions maps
so the tier that corelates with socketed stones...

alright, so make whatever region you want to boost your maps drops in to have watch stones that provide maps that are t13-14+
the rest of the regions, make them tiered. so say 1 outer region has no stones, another has 1 stone, another has 2 stones

this version of the atlas doesnt allow tier pushing
before you could "force" a higher tier map to drop by eliminating the tiers below it
now the map just wont drop if theres no map of that tier on the atlas

its a simple system with confusing nuances
focus on 1 region
you have a region that needs 3 stones
so
so i cant socket in 4 stones and running a lower tier map in that region to get conqueror appear
take all the stones out, except the 3 for that region
you can only AFTER its spawned with a map of the correct tier
so if 4 watstones are socketted, run t14-t16 maps of that region until it spawns, then run lower tiers
but for the tactic
focus on just 1 region at a time
so socket 3 stones in that region, and LESS THAN 3 in the others
that way when a map drops of that appropriate tier, its in the correct region
cannot get the last watcthstone ...........................................................................................................

a map that was initially t5 even if you now upgrade it to t16 it keeps the t5 requirements for bonus
a map that is t13 as a base if you upgrade to t16 it needs to be vaaled rare still

If I socket all my maps up to yellow/red but I only have white maps to run does that mean I can never have the yellow/red maps drop
maximum potential drop from map is +2 tiers so no, you cant get reds by doing whites

my 10 ex animated guardian just got 1 shot in precinct map metamorph. He does a super fast blood explosion type of attack i never seen it in game. super fast ticks

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's way to frustrating to spawn influence after 20 watchstones. I'm only fighting in areas where I have 4 stones in the citadel and only fighting where I have not defeated all 4 conquerors. 20 maps. Influence spawned in on region. One additional conqueror in that area

When you run out of maps i. The region you want to spawn it in... And doing a map in other to get more maps and it spawns in that region...

for the spawn you need to be at whatever level the box on the left of the atlas tells you for the specific area
Only areas with 4 watchstones can spawn initial influence. Afterwards they can be triggered by running any map in the area

@clear mortar if you haven't unlocked the tier of the map your running in the region that it's in you can't get it as a drop you'll get lower tier maps

And youll get ~20k sulphite per single rota

right now, if you spawn the conqueror in a region, you can proc further encounters using any tier of map

Question about abrasive catalysts - they improve 'attack modifiers'. What exactaly qualifies as an 'attack modifier'? In particlular I am using a unique amulet that provides +30% projectile damage. Is this an attack modifier, and will it be impacted by abrasive catalysts?
The crafting site is pretty good at tell it
projectile damage =/= attack modifier
if it was projectile attack dmg, then it should work
I figured it probably wouldn;t work. In general catalysts seem super under-whelming unless you're an elemental build of some sort

metamorph encounters ii challenge: "combine 5 magic samples" - I keep picking 5 magic samples (organs) in the metamorph and it's not completing the challenge...what am i missing?
There is a number in the challenge text, which represent the number of magic samples you need to use. You just need to keep using magic samples until you reach that number
"Complete each of the following tasks during Metamorph Encounters." Combine 5 Normal Samples (checkmark), Combine 5 Magic samples (still needs to be completed), Combine 5 Rare Samples (check mark)

I saw a recipie on the wiki sying that you can merge 3 organs to achieve a higher quality one but my organs just get autopicked up and seemingly dissapear into the void untill I use the vat. Is this a bug or am I missing something important?
the recipe refers to the organs you get to your inventory in maps after killing full bar metamorphs, the normal organs you auto pick up are tied to the instance

reenter the map, if you fill the bar completely you'll get a permanent unique organ to carry out if you kill the morph
yeh I killed the morph but didnt use unique organ, one of the first zones so wasnt aware they didnt carry with u

if you fill it completely it's animated and looks like goo
it's not always possible to do that early on but will be easier to fill (and harder to kill)
I got two unqiue ones and rest is normal, problem is that i've cleared the map so no more organs

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but my atlas seems to refuse to spawn any of the conquerors. Managed to get awakening lvl 4 but after that no conquerors.
it's all rng at that point
make sure your watchstones are socketed into regions that can spawn conqs. after that its rng
@vapid patio hover over the citadels and see what the requirements to spawn the next one in an area
look on the left when u hover ur mouse it says "number of watchstones required to spawn conqueror" and put your watchstones in an area where you have a watchstone that you need to acquire
(i.e. says "not acquired" for a watchstone)
also each boss has a color so if you already spawned say green and red, make sure you look for areas where you need to acquire a yellow and blue watchstone for example
else you can accidentally spawn a conqueror that will drop no watchstone and that sucks
the conquerors that you beat apear in the middle of the atlas

If you spawn your 4 influences before killing the first conqueror each time you want to spawn Sirus you'll avoid spawning ones you don't need

the more i learn about the new atlas the more confused I get
For every Sirus cycle after the first spawn, you have to kill every conqueror exactly once.
You can kill those conquerors in any region, but you only get a watchstone from them if you haven't gotten that watchstone there yet.
When spawning a conqueror in a region, the game will try to pick a conqueror that will give you a watchstone, if it can.
I am a bit stuck, what should I do here?
hover the left side with the 4 grouped slots and put in more than 1 socket in one area to upgrade it further

I put together a combo of low/high level parts and got immediately 1 shot
maybe it was map mods

usually the metamorph mods I end up dying to are Powerful crits,Frenzy as damaged,cast curse (vunerability for example) and added damage mods
I try to avoid stacking those if I can to avoid ripping in 1 hit
teleporting + oneshot mechanics is most of my deaths to the metamorph atm

think alot of players miss what more attributes is added other than the spells... like 4x powerful crits and you are gonna have a bad time

and how do you know if they are 'killed'?
you can see it on atlas
as soon as the 4'th has been killed you have a quest symbol from zana
to open the portal to sirus

defeated by the way means defeated 4 times each
after that its just once each to spawn sirus
Can someone explain to me how does Paradoxica work? A 150 dps Paradoxica would be equivalent to how much DPS from a regular sword?
depends on how much you invest in flat dmg from other sources
if you have another 200 flat phys, suddenly it's 700pdps

that would make paradoxica itself comparable to a 500dps sword

attack speed is the most important mod on pretty much any paradoxica build

when you fill the bar in a map you get organ drops
one of each you can put in the slots in the machine in his lab
and summon a metamorph based on those parts to fight

when you put parts in the device the bar rises based on what parts you select, the more to the left the harder the part and the more it fills the bar
if that bar is maxed it drops you an organ (actual item)
that item you can put in the device in the lab
it's the same types: eyes, brains, lungs, liver...forgot the last one

For anyone curious, it would be entirely possible for annointments to be made on the new notable passives with just existing oil types.
Since 3 oils are used for a recipe and there are 12 oil types, there is 12^3=1728, which even counting the 280 notables being added, is still over twice the amount of notable passives in the game.
However, I don't personally think they'll let us access notables locked behind clusters with annointment.

So it basically just makes you saves you 2 passive points

EDC dps is not the same as other builds
DoT DPS is consistent even when the enemy teleports around. Other builds have lapses in DPS whenever the boss does a jump or teleport or whatevs, whereas EDC keeps ticking the whole fight, so your DPS is much higher

Id estimate for most builds, their dps is gonna be about 30~40% less than their sheet DPS due to mechanics, dodging, etc, whereas DoT DPS is the same as its sheet dps

Essence Drain is a DoT, not an Ailment
Bleed and Ignite typically you can only have 1, but there are passives and items to let you stack multiple. Poison is the only DoT in the game you can naturally stack, its the exception

Honestly Im staring at my Golemancer tree at the moment and Im not like 100% sure that the new tree stuff actually does net me more passive points
I guess I am getting +2 passives, as Im going from 9 points to get 3 jewels to 7 points to get 3 jewels
But I am only in range of the single outer jewel... I dunno if its worth travelling around to any of the other outer jewels after that :x
But if you can get 2 sockets on a medium, based on this pick here:
Then it looks like its 3 more points to get +1 socket there, but the travel node could be a life node if you roll it as a GG one, lets assume its possible to get 4% life
This could total up to 3+4+3+3+3 points to get:
12% life and 6 jewel sockets, at a cost of 16 passive points, which is an average of 2.66 passive points per jewel socket... I think that would definitely be a lot better than "yay some more int and str and dex to get these jewel sockets"

@scarlet geyser because es an int give life an dexterity doesnt, so many people who choose to go for a dex-stacking build dont realize that life is not something you need

so if you try to go for hp and dex, you will fail miserably
but how do you go glass cannon with facebreaker attacks as your only option?

@faint basalt the normal delirium encounters are triggered by you walking through the mirror in a zone, and they last for a limited time. However, you can use the delirium orbs on a map to turn the entire map into a special delirium encounter with no time limit on it

I'll do a little bit of math and figure out how mana dex you'd actually get by stacking the jewels if you haven't already.
So on this tree if you throw the jewel into the 6 furthest jewels sockets you'll get a total of 387 dex or 64 dex per jewel socket. Any jewel before this point you'd be better off putting a double dex abyssal jewel into the socket.
Now with that said I feel like you can optimize the tree around the jewel quite a bit better, but I can't really see it being very practical.

If you think about it, the new cluster jewels and the "Voices" unique essentially allows you to build your own class. Since the only difference between the classes are passive tree and ascendandies and we are allowed to completely build out our own sections of the passive tree to allocate.

I think the main point behind the jewel is that isn't limited to one so you can string them along jewel sockets as you are pathing. 1 of them is quite underwhelming, but if you have 7 of them averaging 60+ mana per jewel then it becomes a bit more interesting.
