@violet nymph it's easy on pathofexile.com/trade as you can just set item category as Metamorph Sample. on poe.trade, using the base types of the samples doesnt appear to work, but you can just type "lung", "heart", etc. but may need to set other search parameters like not having sockets, is unique, and doesnt have such and such mod to filter out other items

I'm early into Metamorph, so I might not have run into anything yet, but as far as I can see all the monster parts you assemble into Frankenstein's Ooze are bound/locked into the map you collect the parts from. If this is the case, what is the point of the Metamorph NPC's area? Where does that fighting area come in? Once you reach mapping are you suddenly able to store and keep monster bits across maps?

For everyone looking to start atlas progression this is what i know:
- Choose one of corner areas and play maps in there(must not spam same map).
After a few maps you'll get influence on that area. - Repeat step 1 in the same area but try to go trough all maps if you're getting stuck.
- Find the NPC and then speak with Kirac in ho and then with zana.

@austere anvil I think that means you have to engage with the conquerors mechanic. I think they are influencing that region now and you have to do different maps in that region to get them to spawn

If you want a specific part, you have to get that part from a boss, and then make the full metamorph. Bosses can only drop certain parts, based on this list: https://poedb.tw/us/Metamorph#eye

afaik you just socket to the number required to make an exile spawn, run 1 map, they talk to you, run a different map in the same area, they talk to you again, run any other map (including the first one you already ran) again and then kirac says "ok fight them now"

i read that one of the strategies would be to go from inner to outer to inner ...
you started with T1 (inner) went to T4/T5 (outer), afterwards you place the watchstones in the inner areas
now you can run those T4/T5 maps and potentially get T6/7, you will do this until you have a good map base
then you will repeat from step 1 which would be to again move to the outer regions, kill the bosses and get more watchstones

Hey i'm playing glad block and I keep dying against a metamorph boss on maps that spread caustic ground/deals chaos damage over time.
It's so much damage that I die even if I spam my instant flask, can someone tell me what affixes causes that with organ samples ? Or maybe it's a specific mob... idk
The only thing I know is that it's not an effect on death.

Are Metamorph catalysts very rare? Admittedly I didn't do a large number of league mechanic encounters during the main campaign (maybe about 20), but I've done them in every map since getting Atlas access (again admittedly only about 8 or so maps so far). So far I have not seen any. Am I correct in assuming they only drop off metamorphs? If so how often should I expect to see them?
