Arena wouldn't be bad while being an outdoor map
Depends i think sustain seems to be harder this league but then most people complain everytime anyways so meh

I'm working on a tool for Blight League that allows you to simulate anointing, search the available anoinments, and check which anointments are available for your given quantities of oils. Is it possible to finish blight map on normal pc? Regularly my fps is around 60, but on blight map it drops to ~10 in low res. And my pc starts sounding like fighter jet.
you can do it with a summoner but most builds will lag so much it'll be difficult to kill things

Toxic rain could freeze enemy in place with other slows. I have a feeling that GGG added toxic rain to the slow cap so one couldn't freeze cheese with temporal towers.
I still get temporal tower enchant because its pretty good for holding one side.
well you still need to kill stuff and like 90 or 95 action speed slow is pretty much perma freeze
imma put it on my ring as soon as i craft replacement for mu current ones

blighted maps are so stupid. I constantly get portals right beside the pump, circling around it. As soon as a boss spawns he attacks the pump and the encounter fails. Great design...

put a bow in your second swap and hit x while you're hovering the node
your skill gems won't matter for it atall

Along with Ranged Attack Totem, might also be interesting to try Vengeant Cascade with High-Impact Mine and a bow/wand attack
Though the guy who I bought it from told me of the site called https://poeapp.com/ where they it's updated with the new notables so you can search for them just search "Allocates #" that would of been usefull for me to know beforehand hah
(High-Impact Mine being the brand-new mine version of RAT that I haven't seen many people talking about)
first of all the projectile won't return until there are no remaining chains on a projectile.
Secondly the projectile from "Cobra Lash" doesn't last forever and can expire before it can return to you, Projectile Speed can help with this.
Those are the reasons it's not seeming to work, but it's working properly on their end
same with frost blades, increasing proj speed will make it work properly

mm since rat grabs your stats it would actually grab the "you" part I guess

whether you can remove blight mobs from their lanes I don't know
tried blighted map, I can push rares and under away from lanes to what ever wall is close but uniques arent affected by knockback so I would need friend with high single target dps to kill bosses. bosses were only enemies that could come close to pump 😄

They're helpful when running blight maps. Most people tend to run temporal effects.

So, what's your usual TD setup? I am more likely to build frost tower, seismic tower and fire bolt tower
All while using fire and flamethrower trap for the stragglers
For me in blighted maps its Lv3 seismic plus temporal plus glacial cage plus flamethrower
In regular maps i just stand on the pump and hold down rightclick
I just throw seismic all over and hope for the best
scout tower only
and maybe a dmg boost tower
works every time
but I play totem so that helps

Seems Militant Faith has settled on about 3ex for its price range, for now
not as bad as I expected actually
It was sure as legion splinter are so hard to get now
I expected more like the 5 - 10 ex range to start if splinters are that hard to accumulate
its cool that if you invest in such mecanic you can be reward with nice things but that much of a price is a bit exessive, GGG should be more carefull when they add league mecanic as core to give more reward. like legion splinter you just drop more in encounter.
Same for blight i can see it a core with some modification and more use then for annointment could be cool, but it will need more oil drop if this time come
blight is a master mission it seems like so it'll be pretty common when it goes core, I think
so oils would be about their current prices, maybe slightly more
Purpose of a game haave to stay a bit fun and the more it goes the more we have unrealistic affordable item unless you are 1% of hardcore player base

you will just get a warning in Lab tha the item is already enchantet

jesus, the map was really impossible to finish, the abyss bosses tank sooo much and the performance really finished it lol
any tips on that, i spammed tower like no tomorrow with -60% costs but it didnt help one bit
....20 portals? F'n'A the towers do so little damage I have no idea how any build but all the minions would handle that.
And it's not like you have any opportuinity to set more towers once the encounter has started, upgrading is somewhat doable if the tower is on screen....

You have to get cc towers buffs on your rings.
Maybe I'm missing which anoints are good then. because adding damage to the cold, stun, and minion towers seems to do...not alot. It seems like the intent is to make the CC of those towers better and do damge yourself. Not that I've had higher tier oils to play with that much.
Maybe two minion damage on summoning towers anoints would be good. Assuming that they stack...
cold and stun towers dont do much damage in the first place, so 25/50 isnt a big increase over zero
minion towers dont do much damage until they become the fliers @tough musk
so those annoints are kind of just there for symmetry I think
the more expensive annoints are the good ones obviously, and if you use fireball towers, 25% increased damage is pretty nice
You want to upgrade to frostbolt for damage and small freeze.
it baffles and confuses me when I watch a root bounces around the room as it forms into this giant tied shoelace of a line, to settle on making a portal on top of the pump
The level 1-3 does very little damage.
I prefer the cage over the bolt
I think the fireball tower MK3 is pretty good, upgrading to flamethrower is good if its a choke, meteor bad unless you want to cover a lot of lanes

and can thin the packs pretty well
Ah, there's my problem then. I rarely have the APM availible to actually upgrade the towers past t3, but need the CC towers to not immediately die.
my pro tip
build lots of t1 towers
at the start
so you can focus on upgrading
its faster to upgrade than it is to place a tower

You have to defend alot of spots, have to move around alot to keep them out, upgrade or place stuff. Deal with boss spawn.
Thats on blighted maps though. Regular encounter are rather easy.
so you can clear part of a wave, mash a button to upgrade a random tower you want and then go to another lane to do damage control

Ya, the stun tower seems solid in theory, but never seems to do...much of anything. Maybe I'm just too busy with other things to see its effectiveness.
They really good when turn into temporal towers.
I ususaly place level 1 on chockpoints to upgrade to temporal tower later on.
I'll have frost tower nearby to be later converted into frostbolt tower for dps and stun tower into temporal tower. Minion behind those two to catch strangers.
I do run frostbolt penetration because cold resist enemies are gonna be a problem without it.
That only leaves me with bubble minion needing to be cleared out and boss.
i had all towers mixed and really the first few lanes werent a problem
but when 5 portals spawned on the side and i couldnt build because 1) build animation 2) build menu closing bug 3) extreme lag from rest of map 4) no time to stand still to build because mobs kill me 5) abyss boss needed to be stopped because he just ran through my towers
i wish itd be possible to upgrade towers just through keyboard controlls, like 1 key for selecting nearest tower and ctrl+123456 to upgrade it... but i dont think they can ever make it better, the concept was good but not well implemented, it should have more focus on prepararion and less on building in the middle of the fight

see the whole blight when it starts
because then its not "oh fuck the blight opened up on the other side and I have no towers" shit
Honestly, just putting in waves would help a lot. 10 seconds every now and again to build/upgrade would do wonders. And probably lighten the instance load as well.

Ya like, every once in a while just stop the encounter, and don't let it start again until all the encounter mobs are dead and the player hits the button again. League becomes more fun, instances crash less often. EZ.
Do blight monsters have a collision box with eachother? Ie if I freeze the front monster, does it stop the line?

not just no, but specifically try to avoid doing that. They'll stack up into the same space, causing nasty levels of lag and potentially instance crashes if it gets bad enough. Best thing to do I've read on the subject is try to keep the line moving as slowly as possible without stacking up, and kill everything as fast as you can.
I've seen them get stuck on certain doodads as well, unopened chests and the like, although tha tmay be fixed.
Did a blighted map, was able to do it rather easily
not a single good reward node type, just weapons, armor, "misc box", essences and bad div cards
no oil nodes, nothing worth more than 2c
and 135 perandus coins
even alch'd the map for quanty, oil'd it
What tier
General consensus is that a blight map is worth about 3x more of the map of the same tier
tier 3, Im almost in reds and thats the 3rd blighted map to drop for me
Im sure the rewards get higher better, its more just the types of rewards nodes that irked me

Only the regular weapon/armour/jewelry chests can drop shaper/elder items. Other chests cannot
hmm im still not sure i like the daily mission implementation 100%! vor Alva and Jun i might want to do some lower one too white/yellow .. to rather finish a temple with a corruption altar .. but for Niko i would definitly want the red onces ......
I think its fine. You can still stockpile on lower level stuff and do the yellow to red.
i mean because on the daily reset you only get +1 for the last map Level you did

well kinda related to this channel.. I'm leveling my first char this league, how are the rewards for blight? are people prioritizing map MF or blight builds?
Blight rewards are pretty average, it's certainly no Legion. Next week is going to have a patch that buffs rewards for blighted maps so we'll see what comes of that
You also don't really need a specific build to do blight encounters well, since it's basically an auto scroller. The ceiling for how well you can perform is very low
@ionic idol anything that slows enemies is perfect, since that basically just gives more time to kill them. The damage towers aren't amazing. I've been mostly sticking to rank 3 freeze towers, rank 4 shockwave towers (with the petrification upgrade) and rank 3 buff towers. I'm sure the minion towers would be good for this too but I start lagging when I use them

@silver kettle do you have any suggestion on how to simulate triad grip? Currently noting the base added minion dmg, reducing phys dealt by 100% and then add flat elemental dmg but its not that great and rigid.
All I gotta say is that AWC is a pretty meh build for blighted maps

but tbh, zombies already have so much damage you dont even need to run multistrike. maybe as gem swap on bosses
currently running minion speed but it feels bad to run a gem with no more stats
i was running minion speed for a while too, but after i picked up ravenous as annoint it was not really making any noticeable difference
zombies will unfortunately lag behind regardless of how much movement speed they have

I've just been going ham on minion totems a lot since they can halt traffic pretty well, but it's always a matter of losing track of one of the branches and then you lose :c

I, too, think that a wave-kinda system would've been the way to go. Less stress on PCs and Servers and you'd actually get a chance to take care of towers between waves.
The way it is right now I'm having horrible difficulties with the blight maps just because I'm too slow to build towers while defending and everything, I'm having a real hard time with those :/
