in path of exile you can use orbs (called currency) to add bonuses to equipable items, called "affixes", which are divided in suffixes and prefixes; you can have 3 of each on a piece of equipment and they have different pools (suffixes generally give you resistances, prefixes give you life and defenses). For certain builds you require items crafted in a specific way, so they end up being more expensive, and a lot of top tier builds don't work if you don't have top tier items. This is not to speak about unique items, the majority of which is complete shit but the rarest ones enable broken combos

unique items cannot be crafted and they come with mods that can't be found anywhere else

Hi y'all ,I have a question regarding party-play. When in party with my friend and farming Alva,we both go in the incursion,but after killing all the mobs inside I go outside and he's stuck inside. We tried a few things like him trying to go in before me, out before me and the other way around. He was still stuck inside and had to wait almost 2 minutes for the timer to finish so he could exit and for the loot to drop. Is this a bug or working as intended?

The incursion ends when the timer ends. All players get send back to the zone they came from.
You can leave early be clicking on the portal you spawned in at, in the incursion (usually near the center). Is something preventing you two from both clicking on that portal to get out?

sorry,had to go outside a bit, just came back. Eventually decided to use nowadays thechnology (ChatGPT) to get info from more sources. Found out that if one of your party memebers has the Alva temple completed ("!" on their NPC) ,they can't get out of the incursion untill the timer ends. I could get out ,but had to wait for my friend to get out too(and he wasn't allowed untill timer finished). After he collected the Alva temple from his hideout the problem is resolved.

hey all. I have been running Pohx's RF build and have done just about all content and have about 100 divines and would like to play a new build. I think all of the OP builds cost an arm and a leg to play with no issues, but can anyone recommend a build that I can put together for ~100 divines that I can easily get to end game and defeat anything in the game. Just wanted to circle back to my old message about VFOS Zerker / Storm Burst Totem — huge thanks to those who replied. The build has been super fun and this league overall has honestly been one of the best I've played. I've had a blast exploring the endgame — even if I haven’t managed to take down Shaper or Maven yet, every step has been a joy.

That said… I’ve hit a bit of a wall. Scaling into T17s is proving brutal, and my gear just isn't keeping up. In a moment of hopeful desperation, I went all in on an Apothecary card gamble to try and push things forward… and yeah. Let's just say I'm now very acquainted with the feeling of being completely, utterly broke.

The game’s still amazing, I’m still super into it — but rebuilding from this low point feels rough, and honestly, this might be where my league ends. Appreciate all the tips and help earlier, seriously. You made this run a lot better than it would've been on my own ❤️
