Just came to say i hope GGG takes a diff route with Poe2 and make the early game not unnecessarily slow and hard there is nothing wrong with making early game accessible and not having to be relatively optimized to clear at a decent speed.
Then All the one hit mechanics and stuff in end game. There are not any other arpgs that you get delete so suddenly and dont know why. (not speaking about not having sufficient resistances or defenses). But mobs with mods that you dont have time to react to.
I also dont think pot spamming should return. just having to braindeadly keep tapping pots as we play is dumb. Find some other way to deal with pots and temporary buffs.

I'm sure this is an unpopular hot take, but imo they should remove scarabs and delirium orbs and rework those mechanics into atlas and lakes. Like have an Atlas keystone node that is like "Your lakes have a 20% chance of offering a Niko reflection" so instead of running delve scrabs you just take that keystone and build a lake to get sulphite. Same thing for reflections to get shaper items, blah blah, and other things that delirium and scarabs do.
I'd much rather have more control over building a good lake than to keep messing around with scarabs and delirium orbs every map.
lake is a nice intuitive way to build what you want the problem is it sucks and other content is so much more rewarding if you learn those systems. Delirium orbs and rolling a map and scarabs are really complicated and unintuitive.

it's just that every league for the past several years has dropped a ton of currency or other random league drops but lake is like one legion chest, one ritual, one blight chest, one archnem mob etc per map when all of those leagues were 3-4x as rewarding per map. takes literally forever to build a lake compared to what you get from it

i'm first leaguer too, but more than the complaints about this league, what makes me super sad is that this has really accentuated for me just how bad live service games are for preservation. noone will ever play those old leagues again. like, i would probably fork over $60 to play ssf on one of the "high points" of poe history but its just not possible, and i can't imagine it would ever be worth it for ggg to make it happen. i played a lot of destiny, which i think was one of the first successful live services, but the changes season to season were never so big that you felt like you were playing a different game because it was december instead of june -- you just missed out on a single seasonal activity

No scaling after alch and go mapping is my biggest issue. Some are upset about harvest changes. Archnemesis is a terrible system but GGG has sunk cost with it.

Top that off with the fact that 4 mod ANs might as well be stronger than The Feared Maven sometimes, or equivalent hp/strength... And you're looking at something absurd.

AN is literally just flatline rework of basic modifiers that buff magic and rare monsters. It's not meant to make them insanely difficult for anything but the most fomo builds out there.
It's supposed to make them more interesting and relevant, and I think it has done that. But the way AN works currently, with AN mod stacking, and the very high bonuses the AN mods offer to monsters, is pretty ridiculous in its current form.

The A Trip Down Memory Lane Challenge no longer requires you to complete Atlas Memories that do not exist, and the number of completed Atlas Memories required has been reduced to four. Using the /recheck_achievements command will complete this challenge if you have already completed four or five Atlas Memories.

at least if I get it stolen, it still will cost less to craft a brand new one than it does in the current crafting system

Increased minion damage isn't all that easy to come by, and those cluster jewels are an easy 100% increased minion damage. I suppose that's why? Or maybe there's some build that's using those kinds of jewels specifically.
