thing about PoE economy is that it is reset every few months with a new league, and its been going long enough that people expect it to follow a general pattern but the value of something is not going to be same in the xbox league compared to any of the PC leagues because the xbox league started 3 weeks after the PC leagues and the playerbase is largely new players and trading is much more difficult than it is on PC

Not quite right, the level of your character determines the itemlevel of the item you receive (up to level 80), which in turn affects the affixes and sockets it can have. Specifically for Dark Mage (and some others) where the itemlevel of the item is noted on the card, being a higher level does not make a difference. Not quite sure about being lower than the noted level.

@tired ore you can get same tier maps from white monsters, +1 tier maps from blue monsters and +2 tier maps from yellow monsters. You can also vendor 3 of the same map to get one +1 map from their tier
I personally have always started mapping as soon as I complete the main story, usually by lv65-70

There are 17 tiers of maps, each tier corresponding to an area level. The lowest tier drops during progression through the game and once inside the map, higher tier maps starts dropping. Magic and rare monsters can drop maps that are +1 tier above and map bosses can drop +2 tiers above the map area the character is in respectively.

Ofc. Everyone who goes in blind fails a lot. The trick is really to keep it simple. So, i know my ice shot ranger convertd phys to cold and uses a bow, so I can scale the damage with ele, cold, projectile and phys. My defence will come from life so i will need life , dmg reduction and something to mitigate reflect for later as well as resists. Even so im going to be fragile so i will need some evade and movespeed to run away
Then you work out what you scale on the tree and what you scale on gear
General rule is defence on the tree and offence on gear
But it definitely isn't for everyone

@red crag for witch defence wise you need to scale es or es/life, energy shield recharge & there is a flat ES node under the witch that is helpful. Stun mitigation is also important because life nodes are further away on the tree

Passive Skill Allocation, things like socket placements etc, really everything.
I've noticed 99.% of guides are written for people that all have background knoweldge of the game to a T
"Leveling" there are no real guides to that, things like guides to certain Acts etc, I know all of it sounds easy to people who've grinded it for years.
But since the release of Xbox I am sure there are a huge number of people who've never even played a game like this, Diablo, etc etc
Truthfuly it'd be hard to write a guide for all that.

Then with the patch changes, it makes everything very confusing when you have no idea about any of it.
For example, I was building my first build according to a very well written\popular theorycrafter "PewPewPew" and with 1 small understanding on my part, I picked the wrong Ascendency
and my OCD kicked in and that toon might as well be absolute garbage, and on top of it, being as it was my first character, I don't have the knoweldge or currency to fix an "uh oh" like that
Thankfully I learned alot, and made some progress to where now my second character is running much more smoothly, and I've found an even more fun build

people dont write leveling guides (other than use X skill and X unique while leveling) because acts arent that hard

i just recreated my pc ranger but on pc i had over 6k arrows per minute i think
in terms of hp and mana i am alright but one shot hits are annoying so i have to time blink arrow perfectly
