I mean it's an efficient way to buy points but
The arms look weird with the tree branches. Why branches ? I get that they are trying to give us a copy of the new final boss but why not give us two wing options so we can lose the branches

Also the armour motif is weird . It's like recently raised dead but with transcended life form not zombie under the rags

@prisma beacon liking the new sets is just a matter of opinion, however what actually holds weight is the fact that the current ones just have good textures but most of them only have sub par coloring, especially the atlas one where the coloring doesn't make sense

In general they have less quality than previous core packs

#

My favorite is the harvest one because they've nailed the theme with the asymmetrical design but even there I think it could come up even better, especially for that price tag

my 2 cents, enjoy this as long as you can before you actually want something completely different. slowly tweak minor things over time with this like helmet attachments, weapon skins/effects, turn it up with character effects. then once you tire of the core look try something else.

Im not sure if its a herald im assuming it is since it chains explosions like heralds do.
Usually seen with fire BV i believe so im also assuming its a herald of ash effect.
After searching the 37 possible mtx I only saw celestial which kinda looked like it but not really 😕

I'd like to take a sec, to urge everyone here who supports PoE with purchases to just write up a very short email to support@grindinggear.com. Ask GGG that we get an in-game means to preview various cosmetics. The way they showcase these (let's be honest) pricey items is paltry at best and in the end this would be a great qol feature would only benefit them as much as supporters of the game.

@old depot you didn't mention what else combine with so I went with council body armour and the rest of the basilisk stuff, darkwood cloak is very nice but if you are planning on getting darkwood set I wouldn't get the cloak since the armour already has a long tail/skirt otherwise is really nice cloak/set

if you cannot decide, it means neither appeals to you strongly enough. regardless you have 1 year to decide for delve pack and till the end of 3.14 league to decide for renegade or next pack. so I'd say, nothing to fret about for now. @dry zephyr

my impression for the core packs are I feel like they're okay if you want to really express your fandom for the game through mtx, otherwise not really. as for the ritual supporter pack both are meh nothing great but not bad either. wait till next pack imo

the white color tone of the faithsworn is not as white, leaning slightly towards teal so make your decision based off that. you can go for a varied tone white set I suppose, no harm in that but it won't feel like its a perfect fit imo @umbral remnant

They're right. Those gloves are definitely not close to being worth 30 ex. If the lightning res rolled 40+ and the damage against chilled rolled 45+, and the cold damage was tier 1, and the evasion was something else or not there at all... Then they'd be worth 3-5 ex at best.

Instead of responding to complaining, I'll offer suggestions. Try to use harvest crafting to remove the evasion, then look into influenced exalts for remaining affixes for the 6th slot.

Yes it would take investment and time, but that's crafting in this game.
Those gloves could be very useful for an ice shot build, but they don't quite hit the mark for being "insane." They are good gloves though

Yeah no those gloves aren't good for ya, maybe on Scion bleed or something else, just get ones with life/resis/dot dmg maybe culling you are kinda wasting a slot this way...

@lyric compass thanks for the advice on the gloves. The thing is, these are the best gripped gloves, with those stats available on the market. On a min-max basis, there is nothing better on market. sure if light was t1 and instead of evasion ihad hybrid life or something else, they would be mirror tier, not 30ex. The question is how much does someone want to spend on a gripped glove base.
