I mean, I wouldn't say that. It's a "nerf" to really basic endgame optimization, but the new actual endgame optimization options now are both way more interesting and extend way further into the endgame. This league has some of the most bonkers hyper-endgame optimization of any league ever, what with volatile vaal orbs, screams belts, mixed notable cluster jewels, and so on, in addition to some midgame optimization. But it does mean that builds have to optimize in ways that aren't just slapping on an Awakened version of a support they were already using.

Mines are what is known as a "proxy", that being a secondary "character" that uses your stats, but isn't "you". Basically, the rundown is, a Proxy functions as a copy of you. It has all of your stats, your passives, your items, etc, as though it's you, but its just a copy of you, so anything that happens to the proxy doesn't affect the original. On the other hand, things happening to the original do often affect the proxies, when they're created. Mines, Traps, and Totems are all proxies. Minions are not.

on the other hand, one benefit of proxies not being you is that you're functionally immune to reflect

its good, but requires you to full clear the map before fighting the boss, and wisps don't do as much for the boss drops as you might think since bosses don't actually have that great of multipliers compared to rares. In order to really get good loot out of this, you'd want to stack other big loot multipliers on the boss, in addition to just wisps, like the Essence or Ghost ones, but of course the more you stack onto the boss the stronger it'll be.

depends. There's three main ways to run Rathpith. 1) Using it with spells that you only cast occasionally, like Blade Vortex + Unleash, and then only casting it occasionally, plus good regen. 2) Using it with dissolution, so you don't care about losing all your life. 3) Using it with a low life ES setup, probably with Ivory Tower, where you reserve most of your max life anyways and don't care about being at 1 life at all times.

In general advice, if you're having server or instance problems it might be informative if you do some WinMTR traces to the instance servers from your log file and see if there's anything wonky or any pattern to which IPs that misbehave.
Also stuff like which gateways it manifests on, and whether it's from particular gateways or specific game content/actions, time of day, moon phase.

The more specific info there is, the higher chance that something can be done about a problem report.

oh, you know what just occurred to me? Since you can imbue any active gem with any support gem that it can accept, but there's no color locking, you could theoretically imbue some random active gem with a support just so that you have what is functionally an off-color level 1 support gem

I'm not sure how useful that would be, but it does theoretically allow you to socket a level 1 support gem into any gem socket color you want

There's columns for packet loss, latency min/avg/max for each hop.
The rows are the machines from yours at the top to the server at the bottom - the internet works as gigantic bucket brigade, forwarding packets to the next hop.
