Making a lot of early money is about getting through campaign as fast as possible on the most powerful build you can find then getting the maps and getting to high level in maps as fast as possible. There are dozens of smaller crafting recipes and ways to make money between tier one and tier 16 though which all just comes with crazy amounts of play time and developing a high gaming IQ for the economy and everything else. A lot of high level players also work with other people and Duos groups and just back and forth assistance on material and gear to Corner markets and such like that. Also being able to read what builds are being popularized by streamer so you can capitalize on Crafting for them, Theory crafting what's going to be broken in the new league for farming and general extremely efficient time management. Someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or something needs clarification but that's my understanding of it
