it is, but it's hard to price rare items

it's broken even when you use it to search for uniques

#

for example, if you just Ctrl+D an unique item, macro will list cheapest uniques

#

however, the price can vary from several chaos to several exalts

#

that's why you should always use extended price check, which allows you to search the prices of unique items with rolls similar to yours

okay give me a short rundown you just found a rare you think might be worth something what do you do? a lot of the time when I try to look on poe.trade after using macro and it says its like a few c I get no items coming up on the search

i'm not a specialist in price checking, but i usually look at most interesting mods on an item, so for example HP+res on rings, then i price check items with similar rolls using macro or trade engine

If the item has also different mods, i price check them separately, see how much are worth similar items with similar rolls of those exact mods, and then i check if there are items with similar mods and rolls at all, so for example i ignore one or two bad mods and PC the rest

#

then i can estimate how much the thing is worth and try to sell it

there is also similar ring for 70c tho, with light res so i'd go for ~140c and drop it by 10c every few days if no one wants to buy

@earnest crystal i recently changed my filter to strict so i get only accessories, good bases, high ilvl or elder/shaper items highlighted, i would recommend you to do the same if you don't want to waste your time on picking up bad stuff

i would say whatever the BASE chest 6 linked costs + 3 ex. So if 6 link Vaal regalia is 5 ex.. this will be worth 8 ex.

because 663 ES chest is not impressive. it's fairly low... so people won't pay anything special to get one.. the +1 curse costs 3 ex.. which is how i got to what i said.

ok so i know that things like astral plate need to have armor and life on them, vaal regalas need a hell of alot of energy sheild to be worth somehting but what about evasion based gear? what things do you look for? a haigh evasion rating im assuming, alot of life? alot of resistances? or is it jut plug and play what is good on non energy sheild gear and replace the armor for evasion stats?

Evasion gear really just needs the same as astral plates, only its less important to get a high evasion roll though it can still help the price

#

but unless you can get really good stats on body armour dont even bother trying to sell it, most people just buy 6l bases and craft from there since its a lot cheaper to do that than to try and 6l a good base

yep so the POE trade macro is mostly used for items that dont have variations

for example a white MAP.

or a jewel that has fixed mods that can't change

I dom't think it'd sell at the 10 C mark however, as the only examples I could find that were comparable had been listed for awhile
I think having the roles as To Attacks is what screws you here. If you had these as normal additions and then rolled a elemental damage to attackskills you'd be on money
