strongest depend on what the full build is but its just a nice option since it lets you ignore chaos damage and getting chaos res in endgame, you can go MoM with CI depending on what you're trying to do

What's the downside to ascendancy swapping? Just some ethereal concept of roleplaying that doesn't apply to a game like this. It isn't Baldur's Gate it is PoE.

my filtering is that I set a "not" restriction and inserted every ally/minion mod, then started putting in the other mods so it would show me items with all 6 affixes revealed
there were some days were i sold plenty of maps i think i sold like 150ex of maps

Getting locked into a mistake you made as an uneducated player has nothing to do with slow or fast. It's just punishing and a noob player isn't going to be ok with rerolling, many of them are opposed or non-understanding of the league system and resetting so often.
i respeced for like 400k today and 2h later i had it back
slower game is fine, but quality of life should still be there like being able to respec ascendancies, or change your campaign selectable bonuses

The issue with that to me is not loot drops or pacing, it's the lack of being able to fill in your gaps and smoothly upgrade your gear as you get/craft it. No crafting bench/no rune removal really sucks for that.
that's also part of the problem, its a mix of that and just the lack of drops you get to try and slam a decent upgrade

I can't afford to buy any gear with mf because I have no currency because none is dropping because I don't have any gear with mf.
Like my warbringer is level 92 and rocking two empty sockets because I know I will need them if I swap a piece out so I'm basically just missing 14 chaos res for no reason other than I can't change my runes

That's definitely an option, it'd help a lot. I'm not sure how realistic getting bleed chance capped on your clearing skill is, even with that - I think the support gem needs to go on your single-target so it doesn't feel horrible. But yeah, the bleed passives in witch area + Sanguine Diviner + the support should be enough to be capped on one skill, at least
I've just put the spell bleed on the backburner for now. The fact that it seems so difficult to make it work does just make me want to do it even more (because I'm a masochist like that, ha), but I want to take the time to cook up some ideas for it and get some currency for it. And my poison crossbow pathfinder's feeling really nice so far so I'm just gonna stick with this for a while

Yeah, duration for Snipe/Plasma Blast is obviously super good for uptime
124 is the max without pathfinder ascendancy, but more realistically 104 is very reachable at level 80.
for snipe its not even uptime you have single shot and then either logout or boss dies xd

Dunno if you saw but ThatsRealNeato put out a frenzy-based Deadeye with a lot of pin stuff that had some interesting tech. He was using Spiral Volley, though, but there might be something worth yoinking there

Anecdotally, my warbringer armor is at 78% and I've never gotten one-shot by a phys hit even on crit mod map/damage map, it has to be extra damage as element or something of the sort to kill me.

There’s a lot of stuff overtuned and undertuned, balance will take a year or two to settle out

That's never going to be the case - especially with evasion. It's entropy-based, so you will get hit, and you need to be able to survive that hit
primary defense needs to work all the time

Speaking of evasion, and building that up, with Subterfuge Mask, would you choose to use a int helm for more energy shield and passive conversion, or a dex-int helm for access to a % evasion modifier?
Well it gives more flexibility in gearing, and is nice for builds that want to path near evasion stuff on the tree. The keystone itself isn't inherently bad, even without double dipping, it's just that armour isn't great right now

Oh yeah, @thorny token, do you know how Low Tolerance functions in POE2? It says 60% increased effect of poison, rather than magnitude, which I think is the only source of poison effect. Do you know if that's a multiplier?

Well that's the point, the evasion portion of those nodes do not apply. When it comes to converting a stat you can only scale the stat that it is converted INTO, which in this case is armour, so you need strictly armour nodes.

Nope, conversion in PoE does not remember the scaling for the pre-conversion stat. It would take your baseline evasion, convert it, then scale based on your %armor

if you have 2000 evasion and 100% armor 100% evasion that evasion will become 2000 armor and then get scaled by the armor to 4000 armor, the %increased evasion doesn't matter. Which is why on Eldritch Battery MoM builds you scale mana% rather than ES%. Same idea.
I'm not quite sure how the shotgunning affects poison chance but it seems like it maybe rolls the poison chance per fragment but takes the damage of the shotgun
can anyone explain how rising tempest actually works? it sounds insane. if my bow/quiver has cold and fire on it, and i'm using lightning attacks, am i doing 36% more damage??

the element type is the skill element type
the type of damage you deal does not matter for rising tempest, you must use skills tagged with different elements to proc it.

well, then, its for the ability to wear armor + evasion gear and change the evasion on the gear to more armor, after having taken merc nodes that gives dex or strenth + dex instead of being pure strength. And there is technically 2 nodes that give flat + evasion and armor instead of a %.

Galvanic Shards has the line "multiple fragments hitting a target simultaneously will combine their damage into a single hit" so it's essentially a ~120% damage effectiveness skill with fantastic coverage (especially with Fork - it's so good). It feels really nice for clear so far - better than gas nades for sure

how does wildshard work with unleash or echo. is it:
- if first occurrence proc wildshard, the unleash/echo also proc wildshard?

I can't answer the first question at all, and I can't definitively answer the second, but generally it's safe to assume that POE rounds against the player's favour

you convert all damage prior to hit to cold, you then do cold damage on hit. therefore any increases to lightning damage on hit due to ailments wouldnt increase it. I'm giving an example I cant remember if its actually a passive that would be an issue

if you have some es, best thing you can do is to put on grim harvest
it'll give you a lot more sustainable ehp since grim harvest is really strong atm, giving you es every other kill and also overflowing your es pool

okay so i figured something out
the COLD damage here, is basically my regular lightning damage that gets converted into cold via the ring. however, i was like why do i still have SO much lightning damage? Its my Archmage, which is completely unaffected by the ring. Which means, my gear still scales the archmage and so does my passives.

You won't do another 16, realistically. Once it takes you days to gain a level you'll just decide it's time to main another character
