is there functionally any difference between those two stats? like should I make sure %chaos is higher than %spell or does it not matter

If all you're doing is Chaos damage with those two Spells, then there is no difference. The two will be added up together for damage calculation on hits (assuming a pure Chaos damage hit), and both Contagion and Essence Drain have a line that specifies that increases to Spell damage apply to their debuff, so they also benefit from both.

I didn't find it on the interwebs: How is "estimated critical hit chance" calculated in combination with your default critical hit chance. estimated critical hit has a +xx% - +xx% which depends on accuracy. Is this hit chance then simply added to the default critcial hit chance, just added into the formula (like with skill tree nodes) or completely different

There are plenty of people who should hypothetically be critting with literally every hit with how high those numbers get, yet don't, myself included, but the chances you'd arrive at if treating these as multipliers are much closer to how often I seem to crit.

I've got much lower values, at 14%~ base and 74%~ from accuracy, which should still give me critical hits 90%~ of the time. Despite that, when using supports that trigger from critical hits, it would seem to be triggering only every 1/3 times

There's also someone that had +300% on their character, yet didn't seem to be inflicting critical hits consistently, which should be impossible if that is just added.

I am BEGGING whoever is in charge of expedition to remove that enemy that does the AoE explosion. Not only does it detonate quickly compared to every other AoE, but it’s radius is large enough for rolls to not save you. Speaking of rolls though, you can’t even do that, because while you’re doing the expedition, there will be so many mobs swarming you (that also have almost pre-nerf delirium level immunity window when they spawn) you can’t even escape the explosion. There is nothing fun or rewarding about this enemy, either nerf them or change.

It's almost certainly 100% increased chance, so whatever the base chance is, it would double it (barring any other modifiers that would be added to the effect of the passive). So, if the base chance of them having a unique was 5%, this would increase it by 100% and effectively double it to 10%.

It seems to be a bug that occurs sometimes, you can disable gemcutting restrictions in the options and bypass it.

Though do make sure you'd have enough Spirit after socketing in that support first, it does add to the reservation

You gain Infusion charges when consuming regular Charges - Frenzy, Endurance and Power Charges, that is. Spears can easily generate Frenzy Charges if paired with Bucklers, using Disengage, or with Combat Frenzy.

im not using a meta build and im still at level 5 maps, due to solo self found my gear isnt great, however I'm missing 42 skill points, 4 ascendency points, my skill gems are only level 15 with 2-3 support gems and so on, so I have a hard time imagining that level 15 maps will be actually challenging once my character is developerd
