so im lvl 70 ranger and im mostly getting 80-90% hp gone with 1 hit mapping. i have 1.2k hp with 0 chaos res, no ES. im trying to buy new armour, but I don't know if I should get evasion ES, or pure evasion armour.

most of the builds I see mix int and dex to have like cast on shock and ball of lightning, with evasion ES. higher lvl cast on shock and ball of lightning need much higher int

couple of questions:

1. is energy shield broken? i think that gives me more reason to build int too because the armour requires int dex. if evasion and ES are fairly balanced, should I just not switch to int and not care about cast on shock/ball of lightning?
2. currently im at 249 dex. is that a lot? I think I can respec a few passive nodes anyways into int to balance out some stats. is there a good breakpoint on int/dex I should go for?

ranger doesnt really have access to ES on the passive tree so its generally better to build pure evasion and when you have enough you should spec into the "acrobatics" passive to increase survivability

if you check the timestamp, he mentions he swaps considered casting for fork to clear maps/breaches

and when he grabs the fork gem from his invent, all the support gems on his fork ability "highlight" indicating he can swap any of them

for me, i am only able to swap fork for acceleration

I think there's a bug where sometimes a map will have some sort of bug that destroys your FPS. It's a rare bug I've only experience a few time and it's not consistent by which I mean running the same map layout again aftewards is unlikely to reproduce the bug.

My initial guess was maps where mobs spawned out of bounds, but I don't think that's it anymore. Not sure what causes it. I got it like 3 times in the first week and haven't seen it in awhile.

you have combat frenzy, you also need the Resonance keystone. if you don't have both you won't be getting power charges

but in the later game u have more options
