Probably hold off until you get a little stronger tbh. There is a lot of rng that makes that thing a nightmare but if you can just brute force it later it’s not too bad. But essentially you get a reward for completing every room and can leave after a room if you choose. The boss rooms reward soul cores which are valuable

The point is that's a nuisance that makes the map more annoying to clear, and sometimes you miss one

PoE's aggro radius can be weird, making sure that absolutely no monsters will attack you for the next 5 seconds is a pain to do reliably

The problem as I see it is that I find having to clear the area around the switch to be a pain that makes the map more annoying, and I find dying because you missed a monster before clicking the switch a dumb way to die. If you disagree with those then yeah, no problem for you. Other people do see it as a problem and want that changed.

Personally I don't run any stun threshold on gear, just a couple incidental nodes on the tree at about 3900 hp and I basically never get stunned. For a lower hp build one flat stun affix probably goes a long way but I haven't tested it myself.

btw @subtle roost regarding the tablet convo, it seems that any tablet modifiers that say "your maps have a +% chance to contain shrine/essence/lockboxes, etc" simply do not show up on the atlas. My experience with map sustain is that it's rough for a while but not too bad once you start doing high tier map bosses, especially once you get some skill points in the map boss tree. Like when I first got to T15s I couldn't sustain them but now I almost always get 2-3 T15s from a boss and often find 1 or 2 in normal maps so sustaining them is pretty easy

Yeah, I found when I first got to around T13-T15 maps was when sustain was hardest. Trying to sustain the hard tiers without a build strong enough to juice them or the last few Atlas node points and the atlas boss skill points to boost drops was rough. Once I got some boss skill points and the last few Atlas points and got strong enough to rarely die in T15s it's stopped being an issue

It's a choice between two bonuses, one relates to flasks and one relates to charms. You need two fragments from the other two areas you go to in that quest first, it looks like you have the left fragment, I forget which area is the left fragment and which is the right

I don't mind waystone rarity earlier if you don't want to spend alchs and regals on maps, it definitely falls off later

Explicit modifier is really good but also makes maps harder, so I might avoid that if you're dying a lot

But it'll help waystone sustain if you can handle it

Note that those two keystones both make maps harder. I wouldn't take them if you're having problems dying in maps, but they're very good if you can handle them
