So I’ve made a bunch of characters and have been using grim feast on a lot of them. My monk however I just tried chaos inoculation and for some reason it my ES doesn’t ever double with grim feast being active. I pick up the remnants it def goes up a little but I’ve never seen it past 6k and I have 4999 ES un buffed

I tried sekhame trial around 5 times picking up all relics.

Got 75% honor Res, global defences and 3 extra items from trader and then nailed the 3 ascendency and 4 ascendency run

Relics are everything for that one

Yeah, max honor is a good stat for beating it if you're struggling. Then if you get better and are consistently clearing it with honor left you can prioritize things that make it more rewarding.

I would say for just beating it, it's Honor Resist, then damage increases and max honor for relics. If you don't need to devote all your relic mods to making it easier, then you can sacrifice some max honor or damage increases for things like extra keys or extra relics.

Your max honor is based on your total max life and ES (and mana if you have MOM). So more life gives more honor

Basically your max honor is based on your EHP and the honor lost when hit is based on the damage you took. I think there might be exceptions but general damage mitigation and better life will give more honor

That's why ES builds can get such insane amounts of honor, because they can get way more ES than life builds get life.

You do actually lose less honor when you get hit the closer you are, but I don't think that really makes up for how hard it is to avoid getting hit as melee. Part of the problem is that mace builds, on top of being slow and short ranged, actually just have kind of weak defenses right now because armor is so underpowered.

Maps can have build-in rarity so that makes them way better than acts even with low rarity on your gear. Also, the highest tier maps can drop the fragments for pinnacle bosses

Probably not. Right now skill levels are by far the most important mod on caster weapons, and only +1 levels isn't good. By level 72 I'd want something much better than that.

It seems like campaign is akin to leveling and figuring out a build / playstyle while mapping is more like playing at max level in a MMORPG where you won't really unlock too many new things character wise (besides numbers going up / more defensive stats) and the playstyle is locked in but you can refine your own skill (or gear) while doing challenging content. Is this assumption correct? I seem to get more enjoyment out of experimenting and trying out different playstyles so it seems best for me to stick to making new characters and running them through acts 1-6 (1-3 cruel). If I'm wrong in my perspective could someone try to sell the idea of mapping to someone focused on build progression?

The stun protection category either doesn't tell you that information or isn't complete yet, I have nothing there on my warrior and I've explcitly invested in stun thresh. As for how it interacts with EB conversion I'm not sure, i assume you would get nothing since you have no ES

can anyone help and give me some advice please, I do not know what I should do from here on out, I am running maps but it feels like absolutely nothing is dropping, for example the last map I ran was a tier 16 map, the whole map did not drop 1 exalt or similar currency, only 1 tier 4 waystone and those were the boss drops

There rly isn't anything specific you could do except for juicing your maps even more and also getting some mf on gear if you haven't yet.

Now it's only about pushing your maps as high as possible with more relevant mods.

My understanding is that different deferments have different weights to reappear, but they shouldn't eat the slots of your other deferments. Only issue with deferring too many things is you may not be able to do so again if something you really want comes along to buy.
