Hey guys. I play on ps5 and use Semi strict neversink filter. Is it supposed to show all White items as well? The colors on items are changed for all the items, but it still shows all the white items as well, so I’m not sure it’s working properly?

They do not have quality and sockets, and the white items that are in different font, is the items that are good for crafting. But it also shows items that’s not even for my class without sockets and quality. I’m level 53 atm, could that be why?

there are no "items for your class". All classes can use all skills and gear. It might just show white items if they're the highest level base available.

All I can say is I also play on Ps5 and got the very same filter you do and it doesn't shows me white trash without sockets/quality.

So I assume it's indeed related to your lvl.

Most uniques are pretty bad, tho. Always evaluate an item based on its mods, not its rarity. normal, magic, rare, and unique are the four rarities. They're white, blue, yellow, and orange, respectively

HI all, just joined the discord (i'll preface this with I played OG PoE) but gave up as everything was overwhelming IE endgame mapping and atlas tree. I know the basics, play casually around work/life I started a Ice Strike monk yesterday (now lvl 32) but still have crappy gear, I don't wan't a carry just for some exp. people to point me in the right direction/help me understand gearing etc. and just game knowledge in general. Even if it was well-rolled at lvl 18, you are now almost 20 lvls above it which means better base types would have started dropping. Every level you should check the vendors as they often have very good weapons

theres a reason poe1 doesn't offer atlas tree guides attached to builds, since its completely player dependant for what you want to do unless you are picking a highly specialized build

poe2 kind of lets you spec into all the different mechanics separately so much harder to mess up.

unique weaponse tend to be very dogshit unless they offer actually good unique effects. Pillar of Caged god offers a method to attribute stack. Though personally i think its pretty ass without also going Hand of Wisdom and Action (expensive gloves) and fully investing into attribute stacking.

Sounds like your weapon is a bit outdated. Skills also just cost a lot of mana for spells. Spam one of your skills over and over until you run out of mana. Then do it for the others. See which one trains the fastest and look at the supports on it. Check their cost multipliers

You're in at least act 1 cruel, which means you should be at -30% all res. Plus 10% cold and lightning from map encounters in acts 1 and 2. So you're at - 70% total res baseline.

You have - 25% lightning, 17% fire, and 27% cold. So that's 19% positive, or 89% total res on gear.

Assuming you have just average normal rings for res, those would give you 25% res each, so 39% res on the rest of your gear. Assuming you don't have a shield or any affixes on your rings, that means you have an average of 6.5% resistance on each piece of gear.

I think you're probably not checking enough vendors. Even magic (blue) items can be great

You can enable level downscaling which will set the higher level player to a power level similar to the zone or the other party members (I'm not sure tbh). This will make it so you can play together without being too imbalanced and also allow everyone to get more equal xp. If you don't downscale, the high level player will leech the lion's share of the xp and no one will really level up ever

This way, when you use spells its more dmg and raise shield skill will automatically bring up the shield for blocks

you should be 1 shotting to 3 shotting everything by now. upgrade bow and quiver as needed . upgrade res as needed. you should have light herald by now, make sure you have phys or cold rolls on bow or quiver. slotting ice bite on LA will help get you some cc on mobs. LR + oos should be wrecking bosses. When you have enough access to herald of ice, make sure you can freeze the mobs, so high cold rolls will help + ice bite. Herald of ice will clear mobs.
