Towards the later part of act 1 you unlock a bench for your town which can turn items with sockets or quality on them into the respective currencys to apply them, yeah.

I was trying to chance with ilvl 2 staff and it doesnt work ilvl 7 staff worked fine.
Summary is maybe an error message specfically if the ilvl is too low? I wasnt aware that is a requirement

The ingame tooltip for physical damage reduction is not accurate!

Armour reduces the incoming physical damage depending on the size of the hit. The rule of thumb is, that you need 5x the amount of armour of the physical hit, to mitigate 50% of its damage. That means that you need 5000 armour to halve the damage of a 1000 damage physical hit. A 10000 physical damage hit, on the other hand, would require 50000 armour to mitigate 50%.

The ingame tooltip and path of building are using the hit damage of a normal white monster at your level to calculate the estimated physical damage reduction. This results is an overinflated estimated physical damage reduction which is unrealistic against stronger monsters. You can set "enemy hit damage" in path of building to get a realistic physical damage reduction calculation.

MTX are shared through your poe account. You should be able to link your steam to your poe account i believe.

But its safer if you contact GGG support on their site and wait for an official reply.

Also only a small portion of the poe1 mtx are currently ported to 2. They will slowly be added over time.

Marginally really. If you find any well-rolled items that coincidentally have armour or evasion, it wont hurt you, but I wouldnt invest any nodes in your tree into them, especially that early on.

I found the click-to-move in poe2 sluggish and really awful.

Wasd is very good.

Controller is also pretty good, but super annoying to manage inventory with it.

The issue with poe2 click-to-move that poe1 doesn't have is it feels much slower to turn/make precise inputs, since it tries to keep your movement direction when attacking

Like having some skills have higher shock magnitude and others with more lightning pen, etc.

Or dip into 2 elements in some niche build with a fire setup and a cold setup, etc.

Or you want a clear setup with a ton of aoe for your melee build, and a singletarget setup where aoe doesn't matter that takes more raw damage nodes.

i stopped playing on my ranger cause i didn't want to go Energy shield, and the max amount of life you could get on gear without incredibly expensive uniques is like 2.5k-3k. So you just get 1shot to high map tier bosses if you dont roll at the right time. Kind of awful balance for life builds atm. But thats just how it is for now

Also that channel link is for poe1, but its mostly the same. One other major difference is poe2 main currency for trading is Exalted orb (not chaos orb like that guide says).

there isn't one. Theres only a currency exchange.
That site in the guide is the official trade site.

Clicking whisper button on the trade site also automatically sends the message ingame. You don't need to manually copy it etc

well at that point you would only be using escape shot as utility to get away from a pack. Since its 100% phys -> cold, which would stop you from poisoning

they provide incredibly minor stats
