Imo, a build doesn't really feel "complete" until you get it to maps. If you haven't beaten the campaign you're playing without 33% of the passive points, a lot of solid gear, and more support gems.

Imo, if a build doesn't feel good in the campaign it's not because the concept doesn't work (usually), but because your gear is ass

‪Tbh in regards to the elon hate, like his gear, im on the same build btw, but his gear is very good, but it can be purchased pretty quickly from any third party sites for maybe couple hundred usd. I originally purchased the $30 supporter pack from Steam before the game released in early access, and then upgraded to the Thaumaturge of the Vaal Supporter Pack through the POE website once I made an account there. However, I had already submitted a message to Steam asking for a refund (so I could upgrade through Steam) before I knew I could upgrade on their website where they had higher tiers of packs. Steam processed the refund, and my early access key was removed from my account on the POE website.

If you follow builds, id go for carns or skadoosh's build. I'm currently running something similar to Carns personally. Id say avoid any large slow wind up skills unless you're going with a build that increases action speed a ton. Though they will be improving the mace skills soon hopefully.

Another bit of advice, the cultist mace + auto attack and herald of ice will carry you with full screen clears pretty easily for most of the game until they tone that herald back a bit.

orb of storms makes your lightning rod just perma proc until it expires

so drop orb and then rod on a pack and it'll die

same for bosses

Youll want Orb of Storms too, itll be in the Elemental section, just get the highest level one you can with the Int you have

then 2 for 2nd and so on
