I mean, part of it just depends on GG's targets for player defenses. How squishy do they want players to be? Are armor characters squishier than they want characters to be, ES characters tankier than they want to be, or both? Same question for damage. There are definitely some builds putting out damage numbers and clear speeds that we know are way past GGG's vision and will get nerfed, but overall we don't know their exact target and there are some builds where we don't know if they'd consider them underpowered or overpowered.

Ok, so you're taking way too many stray small nodes. In PoE you want to path towards notables, the bigger nodes, they're much more powerful and will give your build more focus. I'd say you have 13 fairly wasted nodes because of this prioritization, I've put Xes over them, and then 7 more nodes that are just not very powerful or useful this early in the game, the energy shield recharge ones.

The X does not inherently mean the passive wheel is bad, but it means only taking those small points alone is, for example the exposure wheel is REALLY good, especially since you took the exposure stormweaver node, but you just stopped with two small points.

I can't tell you for certain what nodes are the peak dps for oyur build, but these are fundamentals that finishing out to the notable and being efficient with your path is very important
