Ok I am playing freeze sorc but running into a bad problem.
If I unequip any of my bad rings/armor I lose strength/dex and can't equip the other armor pieces.
Should I focus on using INT only armor?

the more you level the harder it is to equp those hybrid armors, but energy shield is not all that great to focus on early

You can respec your attributes at the hooded one

Basically you want hp/resists early regardless of base type and slowly you'll focus in more and more on your intended endgame defense, energy shield in this case presumably.

You can try to maximize your int by traveling toward the 30 int node by witch/sorc area and then try to keep up your weaker attributes only as far as equipping gear and other gems

I think focusing on int armor is easier, both because it means you don't have to worrying about stats and because ES eventually becomes really good

what are the chances they change the mechanic where if you die loot on the ground voids? its annoying esp during the campaign, like if you kill a boss and die at the same time, i think even scripted loot drops (like uncut gems, not quest items) will be voided

So 3rd ascendancy can be unlocked at lvl 60+ sekhemas with 3 floor. The key to a good run is having good relics and having enough slots to have a wide range of good relics

what was said above, run a couple floor 2 trials, you likely dropped some through the campaign. I've seen quite a few people struggle with it so I guess relatively hard. You want 75% honor resistance from your relics and some maximum honor as well, merchant choices is also very good but not needed

I am using ring with additional skill slot, so have 2 buffs. One is super OP, it gives frenzy charges on freeze, another just 50% more damage to one elemental, it is switching every 8 sec between elements. I am using fire and cold bows, so can potentially use bow with that bonus, but usually just don't pay attention to it

whole arsenal is even deeper that it looks btw. With charged snipe, there is no point to use barrage since it one shots anything anyway, but it is useful to use it for immediat snipe without charging, especially because barrage have cooldown depending on the skill speed, so with immediate snupe it has low CD. It is just small additional to arsenal, but with that, overall it feels very cool, I can do so many different things with enemies

The main purpose of attributes is to meet requirements, not for scaling, unless you use an item that makes you scale with attributes.

Non-lightning stuff is kinda undertuned right now, your single target will struggle until frost wall.

But you can make it work for sure

there is a crossbow that loads an additional bolt , but honestly for now just get a crossbow that does good phys damage and has some lightning damage on it

its act 3 so youre bound to find something good later

you want to wait til endgame before you go for the really go weapons cause til then you are gonna go thru alot of crossbows

once you get into endgame, you will be using the same crossbow for much longer so it's more reasonable to splurge for high phys + flat lightning + ele w/atks + projectile gem levels

and you may still have to get it on a different base from the one that gives an extra bolt
