Potentially. You stl get to open chests at the end based on keys you got. And you can get relics. It's worth doing a 2-floor one before you attempt a 2-floor one because beating the second floor unlocks more space for relics, and relics are really important

That was a typo, before doing a 3 floor one. You need to do a 3-floor one for your 3rd set of ascendancy points, but doing a 2-floor one to unlock more relic slots and get more relics will make that easier

but also yes theres 3 parts to damage on that. A weak projectile hit, the gas cloud (which is most of the poison buildup im doing atm), and an explosion if detonated.
The explosion was quite nice but now that i have 8 poisons i seem to get better uptime if i just don't detonate it and keep them poisoned

reapplying poisons while they are in it.

shooting once applies 3 poisons with scattershot, then after about a second or less they get 6, thne 8.

These are weaker poisons though, since its not a big damage thing. But getting 8 quickly applied definitely works well

oops, didn't see your reply. it keeps the reward items in a special inventory that you can't retrieve from until you either finish or decide to prematurely end the trial. mobs still drop loot so all ground loot can be picked up and kept. tho you also can't bank til after you finish the trial so could be good to keep some ID scrolls so you can check and toss anything you might not want to keep.
