dont look at the whole thing, just look at the next couple of nodes you could take, read whats good for whatever skill youre using (can hold shift to see what youd get from taking a specific node) try to avoid making loops and notables (medium sized nodes) are usually the best nodes

i don't see the point of having runes be permanent, especially considdering all other stats can be rerolled and improved, but resistances and runes are THE key way to solve the one major defensive puzzle in the game.
Right now the new piece NEEDS to have the same amount of the same resistances, otherwise the resistance puzzle becomes a nightmare.

I had a bow skill that was disabled. Lightning rod at level 8. With my crossbow equipped, my total dex was 72. So it looks like my lightning rod should work, but didn’t. If I uequipped my crossbow my total dex was 57, which is less than the req for level 8 lightning rod

They didnt. There's more to a Souls like than dodge rolling and engaging boss fights. It's an ARPG so better gear and passives and skill gem setups can hard carry. I've gone from getting crushed to killing a boss in under a minute from a marginal weapon upgrade.

There is, so if a skill says you need a minimum of 61 dex and a user goes to their character sheet and it says they have 75, then it appears as if the player should be able to use the skill. The skill is then disabled because their actual dex is less than the requirement.

The item level will be close to the zone in which it dropped. There's no reason to wait. If that were the case people would fill their stash tabs while leveling.

Some people use top builds on moba / maxroll YouTube is a good place to find random broken builds but everyone has their own variation of the same build but people generally want the same stats on their gear

First was ranger going into deadeye crossbow, had a difficult time in act 1 just getting used to crossbow reloads, getting killed in animations. I played 1 witch where I tried ember fusillade as my main skill, worst mistake. 3rd and current character is an infernalist minion mancer and I used essence drain and contagion until I unlocked flame wall and SRS, and I finally got it right. Turns out you just need a proper leveling setup to really breeze the early game.

I have a bow equipped to use bow skills. But when a crossbow with a perk gives you a total dex boost of 15 , it removes the warning on the bow skill gem because your total requirement is met. However my actual bow dex was below that when not using the crossbow. So I was in a state of seeing that I had met requirements but the skill was disabled.

Transmute, aug, you should be disenchanting rares for regals so you can upgrade good blue items to rare, and salvaging items with sockets or quality so you can add sockets and quality to gear.
