Well staves are two handed so you're only using one at a time and not getting bonuses from the other. You can't dual wield them.

No but that's why they made weapon swapping more usable. So you can have a cold staff for cold skills and a lightning staff for lightning skills and auto-swap when you use the appropriate skills.

I just finished campaign yesterday and have only played 1 char since release. I’ve been enjoying the slow. Rushing to maps I think is going to leave a lot of people hard stuck and also there’s no storyline to hold your hand so a lot of people are gonna be completely lost on mechanics and the how-tos of the game by rushing through campaign.

1st one has base physical and then + increase anything which has elemtal + lightning.. + that bow affix..
(if you have LA so 40% of Base goes to lightning + these 2 increases..)

If we have +10% to lightning dmg
So 31x0,4 | 12,71 x 0.10 = 1,271 ==> 13,981 + rest of physical dmg..
First Second one flat dmg 27 but base is 9 - same settings:
9x0,4 = 3,6 | 3.6 + 27 = 30,6 x 0,10 ==> 33,6

Your analysis is right but these are very low numbers and they should barely feel any differences. The hit per attack is gonna be more or less same for both although the right one would shock etc faster and not to mention sustain mana.

Level up one more time to get another point, and keep heading in whatever direction past the jewel.

Once you put a point into the next node left or right or above the jewel, it’ll allow you to slot a jewel in. Hope this clears it up, if not I’ll draw an example.

yes I alraedy had a better charm than she was offering. I think in both act 3 and act 3 cruel, she gave 1 modifier charms, you can just find better ones in the wild. Idk if this is a good idea for this game or not but based on poe1, I just had a poison charm all the time and the only other one I see myself using is bleeding. And in the endgame we'll be able to make choices based on modifiers for a map (e.g. they do a lot of cold damage, then swap charm)

Oh I didn’t realize you had a point, so yeah, where the jewel is, go left, right or wherever your build is taking you. Once you pass the jewel and go to the next node, it’ll open up the jewel slot.

depends on build but PoE isn't exactly have full of uniques.. Rarity here is quite more diff.. Uniques doesnt give you insane boost but modification which can change some builds

Rare is basically so far highest in PoE Games.. (1/2) you can change by vaal some items unique or orb of chance from white item to unique..

Endgame characters use mostly full corrupted maxed Rare items and 1-3 uniques to improve their builds

Currently in PoE 2 i would cat like this:

Rare - True boost, you want here from start at least 3-4 good atributes, rest is middle / endgame grinding/crafting

• Rare maxed stats + corrupted to try increase boost even more

Then you have "normal base", Advanced base, Expert base (of same named items which just give option to roll better affixes)

• Advanced is Cruel
• Expert is maps i think..

Then Everlasting gaze takes whatever % of your mana and turns that to energy shield then your % increases are now added to that 'new' energy shield. so there's a way to have eldritch battery and energy shield at the same time.

Then don't waste half your skill slots on minions. Get spells to focus on and get second support gems on them to buff them up.
