Im trying to use lesser jewlers orb to upgrade my basic attack slots with my weapon, it gave me the option to use it a day ago, but it didnt work, and now its not even highlighted. Is this a bug? Do i need to use a different type of Jewlers Gem?
It has 2 support slots im trying to upgrade to 3 and its not working.

Quarterstaff strike is not highlighted ( idk why ) -> Wavefrost has 3 slots ( I used a gem on it thats why its not highlighted -> Everything else thats 2 is highlighted because it has 2 slots.

It used to be very fundamental, but considering how difficult ascending is, you dont really build around the ascendancies as much as you'd do in poe1. It depends on the build, i'd always aim to get them asap, but they also shouldn't be detrimental in poe2, at least currently and pre super endgame

Is it normal for an archetype to just not have any skills that fit it in the higher end levels? PSA::: For anyone stuck on the Temple Door Idol to enter the Temple of Kopec and you're bricked, my friend had the same thing happen to them and since I didn't see any solutions here; here is how they fixed it. Since several people asked, here's a general weapon set passive point explanation as far as I understand it:

You always get a regular passive point with a weapon set point, so even if you only use 1 weapon, there's no downside and you can ignore weapon set points.

If you do have 2 weapon sets and want to make use of weapon set points, click one of the 2 "weapon set" buttons in the top right of the passive tree (they each match to their respective euipped weapon set. While one of the sets is thus selected, new passive points you assign will only be assigned to that set (so you can still use it while skilling the other set), marked by the points havign a red or green border instead of a golden one.
You can also use your weapon set points to turn existing passive points into weapon set points for the selected set, freeing them up in the other set. For example, if you have 10 points into the quarterstaff cluster, you can select your quarterstaff weapon set and click on all the passives, turning them red (or green for set 2). Then when you switch to the other set, those 10 points will be unassigned and free to use elsewhere.

Imagine having 2 passive trees that arer normally skilled identically, but there can be some differences between them. Weapon set points is how many differences you can have.
