Evade avoids damage entirely, block blocks the damage. There's some stuff with block where it still counts as being hit and can take advantage of it, but really they're just multiple defensive layers. No matter how evasion you have, you WILL get hit eventually and you want other ways of mitigating it.

by the time you get 1 alch after disenchanting a bunch if rares probably would get you multiple armor/weapons from vendors. The alchemy orb is just another gamba but it takes longer than just buying from vendors

they make an item magic, at the point you are they should already be loosing value as magic gear becomes more common as drop. and some rares drop from bosses. They still are good to flask use them with Augmentation on life and mana flask. Some mfer on the dev team had a brilliant idea of limiting the flask slots to 2 while focusing the game on bossing where you have no way to get charges

No p2w, the only p2w aspects are stash tabs, and thats not really p2w but pay for comfort more or less. You will need stash tabs for storing stuff and you get a very limited amout of storage without buying anything. But if you buy prelease you will get 300 currency and with thtat you can buy some stash tabs.

I'm trying to beat the traitor as lightning monk but it doesn't feel like skill is even a factor. At some point in the fight I will randomly die when something stupid happens like me trying to dodge her auto-attack, except actually she decided to throw a coin where I dodged and one shots me with the explosion attack. Quarterstaff strike is my highest dps ability but I can only hit her once or maybe twice before dodge rolling so the stun meter pretty much never builds up and its just taking forever.

the tree is meant to break your brain a little bit, but basically just ctrl f for things your build needs (eg you if are using lightning spells, ctrl f lightning or elemental and see what there is. Anything that isn't for your build you can just pretend it isn't there and then the tree gets a lot smaller
