weapon set 1/2 is not about how many skill points you have. It's like, how many decorators you have (think of them like hats)

so like you have 0 points to spend, and you have 7/10 Weapon 1 hats left, and 10/10 Weapon 2 hats left

Permanent = it allocates half the loot that drops to you and half to your buddy. Loot that drops for the other will be greyed out on your screen.

Short = the avove, but becomes free for all after a few seconds.

Free for all = anyone can pick up anything.

Instanced loot is something poe does not do. Instanced refers to it being separate drops per person, like only appearing on their screen etc @minor ferry

when you press x in game it swaps between 2 sets of weapons if you have them set up in inventory. Skills can also auto-swap to use an appropriate weapon.
Weaponswap passives will swap with your weapons. So you can spend a couple points 2 different ways and have one group affect weapon1 and another affect weapon2.

I don't get your question. Witch is a spell caster just like sorc and you can play with or without minions. Minion s auto summon when they died after a short delay based on how you allocated your spirit reserve. When you play you are doing a mix of spells and minion commands (if you play with minions at all)

its super hard at first cause you have to not get hit. Avoid it for some more levels, come back in +5 levels or so and try and again when you can 1-2 tap mobs in it. Also, try and do escape type rooms where you can, where all you have to do is run through the room and not kill things
