The % more damage from strength WILL apply, as it's not specific to mace skills
But the +Crit and %more AS from hollow palm will not apply to mace skills
Legend. That's going to be insane with the new martial artist channel skill
You can scale the trigger rate with the more attack speed, and use it to juice a triggered mace skill

temper weapon from kitava will work on facebreakers? it's not a weapon but it have damage as weapon and is used for attacks. Do potentialy.. kitava slams his hands to temper them in fire? explosive fists sounds pretty cool
Probably not if I had to guess, you don't have a Melee Martial Weapon in your hand and that skill specifically requires it

it's one of the best skills to boost your damage
but right it's not a martial weapon. But who knows.. maybe face breakers will be expection for that? hollow palm is a stand-alone node and not an item with attack damage builded in it.
Why would it have an exception?
why are we thinking temper weapon would work with anything unarmed when it specifies martial weapon. Hollow palm specifies gain x bonuses while unarmed using staff skills.... facebreaking says gain x bonus while unarmed using mace skills..... the wording on both are the same.
There are skills that can be used with hollow palm that are not qstaff skills. Heralds are some of them for example.
Usually they require any martial weapons to use.
herald is trigger from an attack.... temper weapon is a channel that says temper your main hand martial weapon.... bit of a difference
also yes i'm aware heralds don't have a trigger tag..... even though they are trigger off other stuff.... frozen enemy, shocked enemy etc...

I dont think mageblood will have anything to do with charms or flasks
it's entire identity of the mage-blood. Pumping constantly flasks into your blood.

It was revealed already that waystones get new tiering from 1-5 for different types
It's a bit confusing though bc on the naval reveal video from today, it said min t16 waystone
Act 5 delayed and waystone tiering canceled
the plan was:
- Ancient Waystone (Tier 1 - 5): T1-T5
- Refined Waystone (Tier 1 - 5): T6-T10
- Pristine Waystone (Tier 1 - 5): T11-T15
- Defiled Waystone: T16
The backstory has changed. Originally, the Waystones were for fighting Beast, but after Chapter 5 finished, the Beast was destroyed. The icons for these new Waystones are all related to new Edict.

People quickly realised that you can't really improve the damage on it and gave up. It has a very bad damage ceiling and it's kinda all over the place.

However - it looks like it might be an ezomyte unique, so it could be a spicy one to steal mods from with the rune
Returning proj on a rune for broken armour would be pretty filthy on the herald of ice setups

0.4 for players who undrstand game was much more similar to diablo 3. It was normal to reaching end-game and being to powerful on entry point to atlas. Skipping T1 to T10 without struggling and already one-shot pinnacle bosses while reaching them. Just one button hold campain bosses and so on. I guess how it will be with new juicing mechanics as before there was no option to juice mobs so much.
Yama could be nerfed heavely as his one shots rely on the Arena.
But might be still broken if you give him flat damage
this is GGG,... things aren't always tested perfectly, what if it's block chance bonus is ignoring the fact we get capped. and it's using the total block chance ignoring the cap. then it could add plenty of damage considering the total armor = block chance

instead what happens in act 5 is that the concentrated mass of corruption that the beast is, gets released into the atmosphere and that kicks off the endgame

Than there is no more an entity who holds corruption and it spreads.
And we are forced to redo the edicts to create an entity to hold it (Atlas edicts/bosses)

The build planner needs more than just the passive tree from PoE1; it also needs passive IDs.
The gems part requires internal baseitemtypes IDs
Absolutely - my point was more that if precedent is to be broken, the build planner being introduced is likely the best reason for it to be broken
Not counting on it, but it feels like the best chance we've had for change in that regard
However, Path o Building said they would provide Build Planner support before version 0.5 goes live, so it's possible.

I asked dev about passive tree a few days ago, and their response was: no promises.

I suspect on the PoB end it will be supported based on the framework already provided with the existing tree data, such that when the new data is available it will just work
More or less will be based on the existing data file format but it's not like it doesn't need implementation lol
We have all the docs already for how to make it work from a systems perspective, so as long as you've got your passive data source configured it really shouldn't matter which tree

Does anyone know exactly how the in-game build planner works for the people who make the builds? I'm a bit confused by it.
Do I go into POB and make the build there? And then export it to a file inside the Poe directory?
You can either write it by hand or have a third party tool do it for you
Is there somewhere a guide for it that you have seen?
I feel like there is no information out there about it.

Deflect easier to cap now though and according to the info we currently have, you only need 20K evasion to cap it at 95%.
