We all know cheating is a huge issue, but Ive seen an especially huge increase in the number of hackers within Cubecraft, specifically their FFA gamemode.
I dont know if its just a lack of anticheat or fly detection but in EVERY ffa game ive joined in the last couple months there has been at least one blatant hacker flying around using killaura to farm players. Im sure the community can back this up as well. I feel an anticheat to detect these players would be very easy to install within the servers so the admins and mods dont have to manually ban every single one of these scumbags. Of course it may as well be very difficult, but we need some kind of confirmation that an anticheat plan is being worked on, since this is a huge aspect of what makes a server good and fun, and most of the people ive talked to aren't very sure that CC is going to, or planning on doing, anything about this hacking issue, leading to some completely leaving ffa for other gamemodes or other servers altogether.
The self report system does work to an extent but there are soo many examples of the message "your report against ___ has expired and the report has been closed" even to players that were actually flying and hacking, not just speculative reports.
Again I dont know personally how the system handles self reports, but there has got to be a better way, or at least some assurance that the situation is being handled, because as of now, there are some hackers that are so confident that they wont get banned, they have purchased ranks and cosmetics within cubecraft which is something you never saw back when cheating was taken seriously.
This isnt a bash on Cubecraft or the team at all, I understand yall are busy but the community needs some kind of PSA that hacking is taken seriously and that there is some system being developed to catch these guys. Cubecraft is my favorite server so I hate to see that yall are losing players by not (or not apparently) dealing with this issue.
