ranked only appeals to competitive audience so it wouldn't be bringing any new players

eggwars is dead & in bedwars i see maybe 1 sweat for every 20 casuals

Yeah, ranked matchmaking would be difficult due to the disproportionate ratio of elite/casual players - I don't think there's enough elite players to support an "elite" matchmaking system
