Iβd like to recommend several new BedWars items and mechanics. No worries if some of these donβt fit your vision I mainly wanted to share ideas that could add variety, strategy, and uniqueness to the mode.
- Expanded Hat System (More Variety & Balance)
I really like the current hat concept, but since there are only three hats and only two are commonly used, I think expanding the system would improve gameplay diversity.
-Proposed Hat Types
Potion Effect Hats:
Jump Boost Hat
Speed Hat
Efficiency Hat (faster mining)
Strength Hat
Grants Strength for 3β5 seconds after killing a player
Toxic / Flame Hat
Enemies who hit you receive Poison or Fire for 3β5 seconds
Resistance Hat
Provides minor resistance to fall damage, explosions, and general damage
Drop Hat
Killing an opponent grants some or all of their loot
(blocks, diamonds, swords, etc.)
Milk Hat (Counter Hat) (10-20 diamonds to balance)
Removes negative effects applied by other hats and totems like blindness or slowness.
(fire/poison effects only β not regen or anti-KB hats)
Loot Hat
Boosts resources gained from:
Diamond generators or Your base generator
Or both (depending on balance)
Invisibility Hat
Grants invisibility but:
Leaves footprints
Crouching hides footprints
Taking damage removes invisibility for a few seconds or only the people that inflict damage can see them unless th player dies then it resets
Projectile Knockback Hat
Applies Knockback 1 or punch 1 to bows and crossbows only
