Cube craft claims to be a casual server yet the playerbase refuses to accept this
Every other game is full of sweats and speedrunners which causes the casual players to stop playing overtime.
They’ve catered so much to the competitive players who will sometimes go as far as to go to hub to get out of games with players who also have rank just because they don’t want a challenge in their game or they’ll leave because they got a map that wasn’t ideal for speedrunning the game.
The changes that cater for people to end games faster are what’s causing players to stop playing as much, remember how when mega first got added it would have around 800 players and now it’s lucky to have more than 20 it’s because of players who insist every game must be for leaderboards.
Cubecraft i recommend reworking the generators back to where they were and maybe you’ll get some of your older playerbase back as well as make an environment that’s. Friendly to newer players of the game that keeps these newer players.
I genuinely feel like if we kept these shops as is but readjusted the generators speed back to where it was it would balance out for both casual and competitive players to both be able to have a fun environment where they can enjoy the game.
Those of you who have stated that speedrunning has always been a thing are correct, however the new generator speeds have made it where that community is thriving whereas the community the game was designed for has been effectively punished and it’s what’s lead to the sheer drop off of players, eggwars is no longer fun for the Paul playerbase how it was meant to be, it’s now only fun for those players who godbridge to your island and hit you off the edge before you get any items because it’s your first time using the shop and you have no clue what’s going on
