#Unite the platforms / Java on mobile and USB hubs

PojavLauncher or Pojav for short is a Minecraft Java launcher compatible with Android and IOS devices, Bedrock players are not restricted to the Bedrock edition of the game exclusively and can use USB hubs to plug in Mice and keyboards for a desktop experience; Samsung even has a desktop mode called Dex.

Bedrock and Java players have been toxic against each others platform for the unequal attention given, Java multiplayer has increasingly less options for servers besides a glorified skyblock server and short-lived SMP's, Java deserves more attention.
While Bedrock edition undeniably gets more players we can start a movement to migrate them over to Java using Pojav and USB hubs.

Java clients can be modified with control mods like KingTux's TooManyShortcuts and there are likely to be bedrock control mods if Pojav doesn't already have touchscreen controls.

While it may seem more convenient to migrate Java players to the Bedrock platform the experience is fundamentally different, clients cannot be modified so low-end systems cannot play and the controls behave differently requiring retraining movement, ontop of that Bedrock is the buggiest platform with obnoxious business practices like minecoins and pay-walling features that Java has had for free since the begining.

In summary: Install Pojav Launcher, plug in a USB hub, then migrate Bedrock players to Java to reduce labor and unite the Cubecraft playerbase.

while DeX is a good app for using your phone as a pc, and people can connect a usb hub for a keyboard and mouse, its not efficient at all to migrate players to java. migrating java players to bedrock is significantly easier. buying a pc that can run minecraft might even be cheaper than a usb hub, keyboard, and mouse.

"bedrock and java players have been toxic against each others platform" is just wrong. bedrock players want the java server shutdown because we believe the java server getting updated is limiting the bedrock server's potential.

A USB hub with power pass-through, a keyboard, and a mouse all cost less than a pc.

#

You only need 3 ports at bare minimum if you want to include USB headphones too.

#

Wireless keyboard and mouse can use the same reciever.

is your entire argument that you dont want to buy a $40 pc to play bedrock so you want everyone else to spend their money and play java from their phones?

it already has more options

it sounds like what you need is a bedrock account

I need Bedrock equivalents for TooManyShortcuts and the Fabulously Optimized modpack.

have you tried getting a better pc instead?

you could easily find a better pc for $40

#

then just move your drive over

"Bedrock players are not restricted to the Bedrock edition of the game exclusively": console players???, "pay-walling features that Java has had for free since the begining": There is no pay wall. Except maybe the marketplace stuff but remember the marketplace is optional. EVERY creator could uploade their mod on 3rd party sites and make them free. Also how would cubecraft migrate players to pojav? ( + pojav dosen't get updates anymore). "clients cannot be modified so low-end systems cannot play": I get a better render distance on bedrock. Bedrock is more optimised.
