As a holder of a permanent Obsidian rank on CubeCraft, which at the time cost approximately $100 USD, I find it completely unacceptable and unfair that I am now being asked to make additional payments to access voting functions in the new game modes that the staff has implemented. When I invested that considerable amount of money in a rank labeled as "permanent," I did so with the legitimate expectation that all functions and benefits associated with that rank would remain available to me indefinitely, including voting capabilities in any present or future game mode. The fact that there is now an attempt to charge separately for a function that has historically been an integral part of the Obsidian rank benefits constitutes a questionable business practice that breaks the implicit promise made at the time of the original purchase. This decision not only devalues the initial investment made by loyal players, but also sets a concerning precedent where "permanent" benefits can be fragmented and subsequently monetized, which goes against the basic principles of transparency and respect toward the player base that has already demonstrated their financial commitment to the server.

in the permanent obsidian rank perks, there was no option to vote.
in the new games
you bought the rank with your full consent knowing that you could only vote in the games indicated in the perks
100$ on minecraft ranks? Geez 😭
ChatGPT ahh script, but I totally agree. Permanent ranks have been unobtainable for a long time now, so Cubecraft should, at the very least, respect the peoppe who spent lots of money to purchase them. This really is unacceptable.
Thats completely false. Especially back then when cube had triple the number of players, gamemodes used to come and go, whether its new modes or temporary ones that keep switching. Buying a rank meant that you are a "premuim" player on the server and dependent on the level of the rank, you have access to voting in every gamemode. Asking the old "premuim" players to purchase the new monthly subscription for the new gamemodes is completely disrespecting the money they spent and the promise that these ranks are truly permanent
I have a permanent diamond rank, I can't vote in the new games and yes it is totally fair, can you show me where it was written that a permanent obsidian rank could vote in all games?
It didn't necessarily say "all gamemodes" but it listed them all, and you were able ot vote in temporary gamemodes too. So I think it [was] safe to assume that buying a rank lets you permanently vote in all gamemodes, including new ones. Also, even if you're right about that, don't you think the dev team can at least show a little bit of respect to those who paid over $100 for a permanent rank? Theres no excuse.
The excuse is they are a company and simply do not care
