I feel that it would be beneficial considering some people including me are able to play with only 2 other friends and having a hardtime getting a 4th friend that is working or unavailable, another reason that would make trios a good idea is the amount of trollers in squads that people including me encounter making playing squads with a random a 50/50 on whether they will troll or not.
