Hello there!
Please read the whole post before replying
Ban appeals in themselves are a great thing to the game, as they add a second chance to everyone who gets banned. They have the chance to prove themselves and explain why they should be unbanned. However there are many problems with the current appeal system.. Its way too easy to fake an appeal
Right now the appeal system works like this:
If you are banned for macro / auto clicking, you send a video of you drag clicking in a creative world and/or on Zeqa clutch practice and boom. Unbanned.
The current problems all together are:
-
The standard is low
The standards of drag clicking has really fallen low, as they will accept pretty much the lowest of low. I have myself seen some appeals that were really bad somehow being accepted. -
Overwhelming amount of reports
There are so many reports for auto clicking / macro and the staff team seems to have given up, so they start to accept just about anything so they can get through all the reports. -
Faked appeals
Its become easier and easier to fake appeal your ban. Its being done like this: one of your friends is a legit drag clicker so you ask them to make a video for you, and then you pass that along to the moderators who obviously sees someone legit dragging and the player (who cant drag) gets unbanned and can continue to auto on the server. Even worse is they can now claim they have already appealed before so there is no point in reporting them, leading to fewer reports against the player.
What can we even do?

A more practical appeal system
They in theory could make a more practical way of appealing auto clicking. a possible solution could be a vc with the banned player screensharing them on their main account drag clicking and doing it well enough to the point it looks like the report. The player appealing should also be screensharing from their main discord account which has their banned account linked to the discord account. That way we could filter out people trying to cheat the system. A slacking appeal with barely any good drag clicking should NOT be accepted if it doesn't match up to the in-game clutches.
Now if the player who is appealing their ban isn't having a good day with their drag clicking due to, sweating, being nervous etc. they should get a second chance some other day and if unsuccessful there, then they probably can't drag click. -
Moderation has to be better
Currently some moderators allow even the worst of the worst appeals. No hate towards mods at all, as I'm sure they have a bunch of appeals and reports to look through, but they really should take more time to approve appeals, or have more people screenshare their drag clicking. -
A simple solution
Ban drag clicking. Hear me out. There has been so much controversy around this, and there are many arguments for it, such as, mobile players cant compete nor can controller players and its leading to many problems within the community. Well what if we just outright banned it? Would that really be so bad. I mean many of the problems in this post would be solved, it would also make the game way more pvp skill based, and games that would usually last forever because of infinite clutches, now will take much less time. (Thinking of snipes here, like uchiha's megas stream or ullo's squad snipes) -
CPS cap!
If banning drag clicking is going too far, then how about a cps cap? This would allow for clutches whilst not entirely extending games to beyond infinity. A cps cap of 25 should be enough to tell auto clickers apart from the rest. And yes i do know they can just set an auto to 25 cps, but we cant make things perfect.
Do you have any good solutions or feedback? Please let me know!
If we want any kind of response from the cc staff team we have to push this out to them. They have to see it for it to make any kind of impact! Any feedback on this would be of great use!
Take care everybody <3
