#Sentinel bot

It also needs updates to detect cheaters better
There are lots of cheaters that use reach, anti kb, and trigger bot that aren’t detected by the anti cheat
i guess the Sentinel doesn't work well since 2023-24
yeah that what happened to me
Yes
Exactly
Sentinel does get constant updates, but the cheaters who use cheat clients get their anti cheat disabler constantly updated as well. So it's not really that easy for sentinel to catch the cheaters
That's not my point I actually mean that the bot need a proper update as I haven't seen any update of it yet not in #📢︱announcements nor in #📰︱changelog and the thing is the bot is banning laggy players too and even those who stuck in glitches
Haven't seen any update since 2022
They don't mention sentinel updates in announcement or changelog
Why would they wanna give hack client devolopers a heads up that they updated sentinel😭
I mean u don't have moderator role or helper (nvm) so how could u know that they update the bot and didn't mention in changelog + as I mentioned earlier I'm just saying that my friend are getting banned due to glitches and lags I'd mena that they would give the info to Hackers so that they hack right?
I don't need moderator role or any role to state something which is true
and no they don't need to mention about sentinel getting updated anywhere
nah see hackers get the info by testing the stuff anyway, if they mention it in changelog or announcement they are making the hack client job easier which is not really a good idea
I still didn't get it that u don't have any senior role and u still saying this hmm anyways
They should do a big update even related to glitches and lags
you don't need a senior role to say it bro
👍🏻
/sr just needs to do something
I've lost confidence in that feature because the reports always expire. I don't know if this means a mod is looking at the report live and actively denying(?) or ignoring it, or if it's just getting sent into the void
It's tricky because I don't care enough to start screen recording and filing a report (which would have a much higher success rate), but I am willing to take the time to run that simple command
/sr doesnt do anything its not even worth it
Figures
i dont think it was intended to do anything anyway
Although I've had successful reports. Is that because sentinel eventually auto-bans the player I've reported?
But this is like...1 in 10 if im lucky
1 in 20
thats my guess
I would actually be willing to clip a cheater if they are, errr, 'known' but usually it takes an extremely trained eye to know if they are cheating
I know that comes off as smug but
It becomes way too much effort to clearly present a case there but you just kinda know theyre using slight velocity or 3.3 blocks of reach
I almost dont care about blatant cheaters because they arent persistent usually
i originally thought that /sr added the player to a list so mods could spectate them, even though no mods do that, but now im convinced that /sr reports dont go anywhere and youre just notified if they get banned within 15 minutes of making the report
yeah just clip known players
That seems plausible, I had the same thinking initially
ignore everyone else its not worth it
