#Ban for reaching in FFA

They should add ban for reaching in FFA because there are so much ppl reaching.
If you are thinking what is reach, is a hack that makes you hit from more blocks and it makes than the opponent can't hit you.
So if they add a reach option to report it would be great for those ppl who doesn't have skills and only uses reach.

It's very difficult for you to check if they are genuinely cheating or not. Because reach is caused not only by hacks but high ping too (you could be in higher ping causing opponents to out ping u hence u see it as reach, or they are in high ping and their delayed hits will be seen as reach). Most of high ping players are genuinely laggy and fixing them is out of their control or it could simply be other region players

This might be able to get checked automatically with a plugin and just checking if the distance between the attacker and victim was larger than that player's device reach range

Mobile has like what, 6 blocks reach? And goes down to 4 or 5 when you use controller?

Can just check if the distance is too far in the case it was a melee hit

Not sure about server plugins specifically but I personally made a script API pack to implement that for a friend group world

Just kick after 2-3 positive detections

Don't think on vanilla you can fool a script checking the distance between you and the victim unless you somehow make it think you're closer

I tried making one way back that would count for lag so like it would measure how delayed the packet was and like compare it with data the server had and decide whether it was reach or not
