The OG eggwars we all knew had large matches of 24 or more, large scale maps, punch 2 bows, emeralds and perks didn't play a huge role in who won, and there weren't arbitrary item stack limits and cooldowns. Gameplay has been narrowed so much that experienced rushers and bots have an unfair advantage with individual players unable to overcome them without using the same repetitive strategies, when the punch bow was nerfed into uselessness we were given elytras as an alternative to putting distance between ourselves and now without that we're targeted for the entire game with no way to escape.
Tryhards explicitly state that they play to win, grinding wins and nothing else and that they wouldn't care if a change which benefits them would ultimately harm gameplay and the playerbase, the game should provide fun for everyone even if certain strategies frustrate tryhards, if they have priority over everything then they should have their own mode instead of replacing what we all came to enjoy.
Java needs more attention, even if that meant risking profit chronic neglect is going to erode the playerbase until it becomes unprofitable, it should be supported by passion more than anything else, Hypixel needs to be overthrown by any means and we'd rather have a successor than to forcefully destroy it with nothing else to take its place.
Please fix the damage which the OG regression has caused and consider suggestions that promote gameplay for everyone and not just toxic tryhards and bedrock lobbyists.
