this map was great: aesthetically wise, size wise and player capacity wise.
from what I know, it was apparently removed because of poor performance and high player counts which is quite sad.

I really enjoyed the vibe and barely had issues with server-side or gpu lag. these days in 2025 where we're far more advanced than years ago, I believe the performance should be feasible enough to keep the map around likely..

if performance is truly what led to its removal then I'm not sure why quality assurance was slacking given you could've measured those crucial information before publishing the map. in that case, it shouldn't have been built/released in first place..

on top of that, the builders did a great job

I think I heard somewhere that the water was causing lag? I could be wrong though because other maps have more water and they are fine, unless it’s specifically something to do with combining glass and water.

Waterlogged glass panes are the most graphically demanding block

an NVS 3100m lags around 30 fps while in jungles and mangrove swamps

When scaled up it even challenges the performance of dedicated graphics cards, every card has a limit to how many block faces they can render at once.
