FPS lag discussion

Is there anyone suffering from FPS drops since the latest version? If so in what gamemode/in what situations?

after playing for a long time in any game or in egg lobby 1 where ppl have a ton of cosmetics

it happens in the lobby or during a ctf game. Mostly when i played a longer time.

EggWars Lobby, Main Lobby, certain map in eggwars (eg gardens)

Basically every lobby (remove the useless custom npcs), some ffa Maps and sometimes it Just randomly happens

we do not need 50 thousannd npc lol

like if people were going to buy stuff, they probaly already bought it, no need to show it still in lobby

there are just too many npc in the lobby that almost no one use

can we just talk about why there is npc in blockwars giga

that just lag so much

The NPCs are kinda important for the funding of the server guys

But maybe we can improve NPC peformance

Is everyone talking about the lag spike that lasts for 1-3 sec every couple minutes or is that just normal.

If the lag only starts happening after you have been playing for a while would that still be server lag or device lag. Wouldn’t that also depend on device and location?

It's usually when am in a laggy place and it doesn't go way

For example there r some places in skyblock where it's really laggy and when I go out of it the lag stays

I would say in all gamemodes including the lobbies.
But in the gamemodes only during gameplay and not during the waiting period

The duels map where there are a lot different types of leaves and moss and grasses i think

In Ew, after playing for a while you’ll start experiencing more lag, regardless of your specs, this has been happening for a while now but it wasn’t an issue before

Rejoining the server helps, but only temporarily as the lag will return after some time

I agree with Pro Winnaar. I have a beefy PC, but after approx. 1...2 hours of gameplay I have FPS drop and it will get very noticeable in a bad way...

No I'm pretty sure it's not, the longer you play the worse it gets, it starts after about 30 minutes of playing for me

i start with like 200fps but i enter eggwars lobby i drop to 110 and go in game i go back up to 180 ish for around 30min to 1 hour i drop straight down to 60fps
