If you end Crystal with no armour on your kinda dumb like not say your gonna die but you could

i think going 2 blocks below the end crystal when you blow it up should negate most of the damage
but using an end cystal not on the base pillars is hard since you need obsidian

Minecraft players are thicc so if their thighs are covered only their upper torso get's blown up and they survive.
