A minigame of 2 or more teams which must defend their portals behind barriers, they attack each other using tnt missiles with varying capabilities and specialties which can be ridden and disarmed. Every player carries a flame bow and netherite pickaxe, missiles are acquired in their inventory as spawn eggs and can be spawned by using their eggs, they can be spawned inside of blocks but may not launch when obstructed with blocks inside it.

Defense items with varying capabilities also spawn into the inventory, a snowball which spawns a shield in the air when thrown, a fireball which can be launched towards incoming missiles, ender pearls which spawn platforms in the air, arrows to shoot incoming enemies, there's much opportunity to innovate on defense items.

When a team loses its portal they cannot respawn and must be killed before the game can end giving hardcore players the challenge of overcoming 1 or more teams by themselves.

Durable Portals

  • The portals of each team are split into several segments which must all be destroyed.
    Standard Portals
  • The portals of each team are split into a couple of segments which must all be destroyed.
    Brittle Portal
  • The portals of each team are one giant portal.
#

Easy

  • Defense items spawn more often than missiles
    Normal
  • Missiles are more common than defense items
    Hard
  • Shields and platforms are the only defense items that spawn and tnt blast radius is extended.

The size and number of barriers varies and determines the maximum player capacity from teams of 4, 6, up to 12.

#

When a match continues for more than 30 minutes phantoms will spawn and attack players who don't take cover.

There is the problem that flying machines and the redstone mechanics associated with this gamemode fundamentally function diffrently on bedrock compared to java, also, i think the amount of bugs that are in the bedrock version will make this kind of game unplayable (i actually think designing this on a bedrock basis might be impossible)

#

still a very good idea and can be a very fun gamemode

If profit is the only thing driving servers nowadays they may as well all migrate to bedrock so that passionate developers can replace them.

The controls on bedrock are awkward and disorient me.

#

I can't play without performance mods and control management mods.

do you use an FPS boosting mod for java

without any fps boosters, texture packs, clients, or anything like that, do you still get more fps in java?

Haven't had the money for the longest time, I opened a fundraiser recently and got some but it's stagnated.

theres some cheaper pcs/laptops

feral hollow

the cheapest one i've foun was over 200 dollars

Even the exact model of my laptop in the used market generally costs 200+ dollars and only incomplete/broken ones go for less than 200.

#

Nobody wants to pay me for my ewaste and the case seems to be the same for all the other listings I found.

#

Other than my 15 year old laptop what other ideas could be implemented into a tnt missile minigame?

#

Powerups like elytra for gliding, entity spawn eggs for creepers and skeletons, potions.

Cc java doesnt even have enough players for them to add a gamemode like that
