See, once again you talk about the quality of the leauge. I DONT CARE ABOUT THAT. I care about the supporter culture and the history. If the leauge is all about money (mls) or about making your contry look good (saudi) I will not concider it a place where the "goat" would ever play in his career. And once again, i still think that both messi and ronald is some of the best football players ever. But no, for me they cant even be the goat since they moved to terrible leauges. Playing outside of top 5 league doesn’t mean they aren’t good anymore. I bet Messi and Ronaldo can still start in many big teams. Both of them had already completed club football. They have nothing to prove anymore for club. They may not be the best player currently but they still are the best players that have played the game
