Tweak 1, Basic Mode.
Change iron pickaxes at spawn islands to stone.
Make arrows a bit less common to avoid bows being the pure meta
Make it so only wood swords spawn at island chests to avoid unfair damage fights at Midway.
Make golden apples spawn but at a rare rate so Healer isn't the meta kit
Tweak 2, Normal Mode.
Change spawn Island chests to NEVER have diamond gear, and NEVER have enchanted stone or iron swords to avoid completely unbalanced midway fights.
Make diamond armor have a slight chance of having prot 1
Remove useless enchantments like swift sneak as it doesn't give much in terms of gameplay.
Remove lava buckets from the normal items loot table as it's stupidly strong.
Tweak 3, OP mode.
Armor distribution is fine as is.
The frequency of golden apples, Netherite templates/ingots, and XP could use a tweak as I've had many games where I loot the entirety of my quadrant of the map and get no golden apples and I can kill someone at middle that has fought no one and has like 10-12 golden apples. Distribution of those items need to be more even.
Reduce the frequency spawns of the golden knock back swords and instamine wood pickaxes, as well as making the instamine pickaxe NOT a spawn island item.
Items to remove from spawn island loot:
Sharp 3 diamond sword
Netherite stuff
Instamine pickaxe
Shovels (what is the point of this item)
Fix the naming of the potions and tipped arrows to reflect what they actually are. Currently, healing potions and arrows give blindness, night vision arrows give levitation.
Tweak 4, Weekly items.
Either make the Tommyhawk have more than 3 durability, have more than just knockback 1, or remove it entirely bc 3 swings is basically useless when the stay back sword has 15, and the golden knock back swords have 60.
Make the invisibility potion last 15 seconds and make armor invisible until you hit someone or get hit, like the magic crystal in ffa
Make the Yeetnt hitbox smaller to combat it not being able to be thrown effectively into smaller spaces
Change weekly items durability and enchant values based on what mode. For example, in Basic mode, the stay back sword would have 5 durability instead of 15, or in OP the fire aspect golden sword would get sharp 4 to balance it. Because unless you're playing normal, most weekly items seem to take a back seat to a lot of just the normal loot table
Tweak 5. Loot to add.
Things I'd like to see added to Skywars, split by mode.
Basic: healing 1 potion. They give no saturation so they're not as op as golden apples.
Normal: Speed 1 potions, Regeneration potions, and automatically breaking blocks.
OP: Speed 2 splash potions, Regeneration 2 splash potions, Jump boost potions, Fire resistance splash potions, Clutch pearls (ender pearls that travel 2x faster than basic ender pearls and have a shorter throwing cool down while dealing half the fall damage), and Boomerang blocks (lucky block item)
Tweak 6, General tweaks.
After first refill, the island would start crumbling starting from the outer edges working inwards, and the radius outside of that would also damage players (in case anyone gets lagged and just floats in the air) this also includes above and below the map, until just the middle area of mid would be left
Remove or nerf pearl fall damage
Distribute healing and items more fairly to avoid unbalanced RNG based pvp.
Maps that are made primarily out of stone blocks do NOT make the floors 1 block thick (my video on me spleefing people in coal probably is good enough explanation why I say that)
Any map that is unreasonably small (specifically on bedrock) like Time, Trees, and Savannah, spread the islands out more to make looting time more fair for people to not get instantly killed by side rushers.
Either remove Trees or change it to be more interesting of a Skywars map cause it's just so plain, the islands are so close together, theres no personality to it really. It's just Savannah but worse.
After first refill, no gapples would spawn in chests in OP mode to reduce game times
Solos map Warden, reduce the warden knockback but increase it's damage
Tweak 7. Kit rework.
Chef kit: fine as is, maybe add 8 eggs
Armor kit: in OP mode specifically make both pieces have protection 1
Healer kit: increase golden apples from 2 to 3 in OP mode specifically, or add 2 instant health 2 splash potions
Wolf kit: remove the dyes, increase wolf health and damage in OP mode.
Redstone kit: fine as is, maybe add slime blocks?
Bridger kit: fine as is
Kits to add:
Enchanter: 32 XP bottles 9 lapis and an anvil
Snowman: 32 Snowballs and a carved pumpkin
Brawler: 1 splash potion of strength 2 for 10 seconds
Archer: A bow and arrows. 8 arrows in normal, 4 in Basic, and 16 in OP with adding power 1 to the bow
Spider: 2 splash potions of poison 2 similar to the ones in the Wizard kit in ffa, and 6 webs
Pyro: flint and steel or lava. Basic would give a 3 durability flint and steel that can't be repaired, Normal would give a 30 durability flint and steel, and OP would give 1 lava bucket.

the spawn frequency of the kb golden sword and instamine is fine tbh and i use wood all of the time but yes i do agree that instamine picks should not be island spawn chests and instead in middle island chests

I suppose I more meant there shouldn't be more than 1 gold sword and 2 or 3 insta picks per game
And it should be ONLY a mid loot item
Bc I've had games where I get 3 kb gold swords and like 5 instamine picks and others where I see neither of them
Plus, my video as example, instamine pickaxes are a bit too op of an item for how common they are

Why remove diamond armor? Skywars is a skill based game not gear based. And Swift Sneak is not very useless and doesn't have negative impact on the game.
I feel like skywars is fine as it is, I'd like fishing rods to be added to normal and op mods, unbreaking III in op.
I meant from spawn islands to reduce the RNG of getting completely outgeared off the spawn
Diamond armor at Midway and mid chests is fine
